Director Li Mu Ge really knows how to make the characters appear beautifully! Meng Ziyi is really stunning here as lei chun! Yang Chaoyue is also really cute, her character is really funny! I’ve got to say Chen chuhe really has that powerful vibe as Su mengzhen! All the actors are wonderfully picked! Looking forward to how the story wil go!
The is the story about their daughter, so you can see how they brought her up being a second generation time traveller. Not sure about the mum, but the dad will cameo in the drama.
You can think of it as season 1 is about the parents, season 2 is about their daughter. But there will still be the same comedy genre from the same author. So you can expect lots of fun stuff!
If y’all look closely at the new cover pic, you can see a wound on qipa’s neck (portrayed by xuanyi), fans suspect that this scene is where qipa is blind and Chen zheyuan would just stay in his wolf form as Kui mulang since qipa was not able to see him.
Its set in in the 2010s i think. Like 2010 to 2012 there.Another thing i want to share in a non spoiler way coz…
I read the book on Xiang zhaoyang and Yang Jian character! Xiang Zhaoyang’s mother remarried with Yang Jian’s father so they are non blood related siblings (there will be a love line). Gao Yi is older than zhaoyang, due to an incident, zhaoyang admires Gao Yi and aims to go to the same high school as him and eventually did (it is also the same school as Jiang Hu).
Youku posted all the scenic photos from the 宠爱剧场 series in preparation for 520. There might be more to come in the afternoon. Most definitely there will be a new poster being released tmr (520)!
In a livestream, Chen zheyuan said that the makeup for his wolf look took a long time. The first time he wore than makeup, it took him and his makeup artists 8h to finish and subsequently it averaged to about 3-4h to finish that makeup. In the midst of shooting, the tattoos were easily smudged so they also had to take time to patch it up, saying the production really put a lot of effort into the design!
There is news that Youku’s 宠爱剧场 which go princess go 2 is under will broadcast during the summer holidays! We should be able to expect it to come out sometime in July or August!
This drama is a GEM! Can’t believe I’ve never heard of it while it was airing and only came across a video last few days! I finished this in 2 days! The pacing is quite good and the chemistry is AMAZING!!! I didn’t know that park gyuyoung was such a fantastic actress she really exudes the rich, sophisticated and elegant vibes! Even her English is sooo goood! Kim minjae really nailed it! He was so hilarious throughout the drama! Even the side characters are so so so good! Props to Hwang bora for her funny secretary moments! I was smiling throughout the whole drama!
AN ABSOLUTE GEM! It’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed such a drama!
Update: In the recent sneak peek post by Youku, go princess go 2 isn’t in the list of dramas slated to broadcast during spring… (they said it wasn’t an April fool’s joke) So we most probably have to wait till after June unless it suddenly airs without any publicity.
Update: Someone went to ask Lin aijia (the actress who portrays haitang) and she said that this drama is still in post production, might only broadcast in the later half of the year… (Not sure if it is really the real actress, the guy only provided a screenshot)
Many fans went back to view the replay of xuanyi giving a spoiler. It turns out that there is another way of reading it, that it was originally planned to air during March but is pushed back due to some unforeseen circumstances. So it might air in April, May or June instead.
