I’d say the FL isn’t spoilt or childish. In fact, she’s more like quick witted and street smart. You can expect lots of laughs from the bickering and lots of sadness from the family relationships. Fret not, wulei will soon have more and more screen time. The first few episodes is to set the background.
Tbh I prefer this kind of starting instead of those that just verbally say their backstory. It’s still a nice watch!
Up to ep 4, I’d say it’s a very good drama! I felt all of the emotions they conveyed especially when CSS’s mum embraced CY but nitpicked CSS and CSS just turned away and looked back from time to time like she also longs for her mothers love. I hope CSS will be showered with lots of love in the future!
This drama would be even better if they didn’t cut down or literally skip the action scenes cough cough DFJ vs FYK The bad guys really died too easily and quickly, WXS didn’t even bother to make them suffer it was just quick and clean which wasn’t as satisfying. The female characters seem more like supporting characters to me and most of them are being toyed which is saddening. It would be even better if they could be more flavourful and add more dynamics instead of just waiting to be saved(that LC scene was just horrendous and doesn’t even help with the storyline, her dad’s death should be enough…) I was hoping for more girl power but sadly wuxia doesn’t advocate for it(?) I’d say it’s still better than most dramas on average, at least I can finish this. Although the middle part is a bit flat, I’ll still rate it high given it’s strong start and the cinematography! Any strong female lead drama recommendations btw? Thanks!
It’s not really 2 parts but they posted 2 episodes consecutively as a benefit. But the counting doesn’t matter, I just didn’t want anyone to miss 1 ep lol.

There’s an upcoming cdrama called go princess go 2 which is the sequel of the Chinese version of Mr. Queen talking about their daughter and it’s situated in a fantasy historical background with comedy, you might like that when it airs! Otherwise you can try xianxia or xuanhuan cdramas!
Were the 2 guys who helped WXS at the start of ep 27 sent by DFJ? If I remember correctly, DFJ said the same phrase when he was trying to scout them after they left the prison. My fav character will really be Di FeiJing!
I found Shen ruzhuo very familiar looking and thought he looks like fang yingkan in another drama heroes and he is indeed him! I hope his role here won’t be like FYK

WR best fighting skill was the first ep where she fought off the thieves tgt with WXS, after that there wasn’t much kickass action from her. I saw from novel readers that she’s good at qinggong but bad at fighting. At the least WR was there to give LC solace and was always trying to help everyone out but her skills doesn’t allow to help, but what’s most important is that she’s a good person I’d say.
Did lei sun come out from the thing that Ying Kan gave? If so, I wonder what LS gave to FYK for him to help out.
I also think the masked man isn’t BCF, the man didn’t have a ponytail at the very end while BCF always has it. BCF is still sus since he and WXS met up so quickly, he must be lurking there doing something we don’t know yet. At this point, BCF still has his morals (I hope so). FYK is another candidate since he hasn’t shown his martial arts skills, maybe that lunatic can also do a speed dash. He’s also someone who’s definitely capable of humiliating people given how he toyed WR in the samurai battle. I’d say the hands look like an old man’s hand but who knows.
There’s a big possibility that the purple robed guy who faced WXS is none other than Yingkan. So, masked man…

Thanks for the info :) Yingkan definitely adds more “flavour” to it and seems to be a crucial character given his mysterious and lunatic identity. He’s also some successor to a prominent figure right? Can’t wait to see when he unleashes his true potential in the future! The fight of the century will either be that or the next episode I guess!
