So how is this series going, is it worth giving a shot? I loved Xu Kai in The Legends, but for the last couple costume dramas I watched from him was not really my cup of tea, I couldn’t even watched 10 episodes from them. Would you recommend me to start this one?

I think, in the beginning he whipped her because she was enemy/random person. Watching all the previews and main drama trailer, I think he will be the most sincere one. Other ones so far showed too many bad sides already. I would probably drop the series if the 1st male lead was the main romantic interest. I’m sad that the main lead is not white haired guy

I was hoping more from this drama , but especially supernatural aspects like flying is too cringey. Since most of the cdramas in xinxia and wuxia genres already mastered the cinemataography for supernatural scenes to not look childish, and even some korean dramas like alchemy of souls have done it correctly, this drama is a bit dissapointing. World building seems rushed too. I will give a few more episodes to see if it gets better
