You are right, tho especially wuxia dramas tend to forsake this and to add angst they add this kind of misunderstandings. They like to add , everone sacrificing themself for each other, yet not telling. Then one of the characters hate the other one because they dont know what other sacrificed for long episodes.... i love wuxia genre but 2/3 of them have this clishe. Last week i finished the last immortal and again it had the same cliche. As it feels a little draggy, i wanna know if yuechu will doubt hh and drag more

Guys does anyone know wether the revealing the need of dongfang blood for grief tree to yuechu will cause a big misunderstanding? I’m on episode 8 and even though the story is cute and special effects are amazing, it’s is a really slow moving drama. And after Shen Li showed a drama with no amnesia plot and no big misunderstanding can be done, I don’t want to watch a 10+ episode of just misunderstandings. I may drop this if it has big misunderstanding plot in donghua/ book. Can anyone who knows give me spoiler?
