Can I ask something stupid? Idk if the problem is on me but I cant find where I should click on Novel Updates to read the novelsš when I scroll I see Latest Release. in there, date and Release are not clickable... Group part takes to the general translator group's page...where should I click to open the episodes šš I feel stupid
Today I finished the novel....I feel like I'll be a Lu Jia Xue fan in the drama if they don't change it too much from the book. But the drama seems really "loosely" based on the book so idk.
In the book FL is actually the soul of the Lu Jia Xue's old wife, she returns back to life in Yinning's body when she was a child, as Yinning falls into a pond and gets really sick. Also, the episodes till now(ep9) happened as they were children, not adults.
guys so for cultivation, do you guys know how to do it? it is always superficial in the book series like 2ha heaven official's blessing etc... but unless we cultivate and become immortal ourselves we can't see this show š
Up to episode 10. This is some toxic crap. He tries to kill her several times, they stab each other and he constantly…
I put this drama on hold for that reason. I'm still following the page to see if it gets better but the only accounts that are hyped seem to be the ones that shipped the ML and FL from the start... So I'm not trusting them :(
I can't believe if they will have romantic line in the future. it feels so unreal.
the drama seems really nice but this main couple thing is definitely a deal breaker for me. hope they will not have any romantic stuff. if you guys watch it, inform me later if the abusive ML and victim FL gets together
I do not think this is the trope the writers are going for though.
I mean yeah it is not the main theme here but as I said it is very unlikely for a cdrama to not have a main lead romance and here people who read the books say they will have a romantic relationship. The bad boy/enemies to lovers trope is definitely one of the plot points the writers aimed
I watched till episode 5 and I think writers just have a misunderstanding with bad boy/enemies to lovers trope. "Story of Kunning Palace" and "Till the End of the Moon" kinda dramas work because both characters are strong, cunning etc. Also, there are redeemable aspects to the evil/enemy ML.
Till the end of 5th episode I only saw a weak victim FL and an evil ML who is okay with hurting bystanders. I would be okay with this show if FL and ML will not have a romantic relationship but it is very unlikely for a cdrama to have main leads not to end up together romantically.
I'll let the drama cook a bit before returning to see if it is worth the time.
oh, you're a Heaven Official's Blessing fan! Any news on its continuity?!
hello fellow fanāØunfortunately with the chinese mainland censorship I don't think we will see it soon... I'm still clowning for immortality as well. but the books are out with special editionsš
Also I think there is new photos on Immortality MDL page....I got my hopes up againā¤ļø
actually, i came here to ask you if Ep.8 is the final final ep. but got distracted by the comments below on nudity...@Eko,…
there is nothing on the internet as I could find. 8th is the finale. They are probably expecting watchers to look at Queen U's history themself...historically Queen defeats Go Bal Gi's forces and he commits suicide. Queen marries 5th prince...check it on wiki yourselfš Unless they wanna show extensive battles, where they dropped off with the minimal background they gave is not really suitable to show the Queen's future palace life...So I assume this is only 1 season mini-series
Let me start with saying I donāt mind heated scenes or nudity but Man I donāt know what kdrama you been watching!…
after Empress Ki I got curious and wanted to watched more dramas and movies by the actors and I watched a lot of the works of the actors. Because of that without knowing the context A Frozen Flower and Perfect Partner were the first Korean films that showed nudity and sexual relationships for me. But you're right most of the kdramas that I can think of that contain nudity or sexual scenes/topics come after 2018... Hit the Spot, Nevertheless, My Name(netflix), Squid Game(netflix)... But I'm sure even in 2000s historical dramas there were implied brothels or š or 'night with consort'. But I cant name them as it is been a while since I watched old shows. Maybe it's time to rewatchšāØ
This is a commenting and cricism site. You don't get to say who comments. Or who watched. Pls tone down with the…
jokes on you I'm from turkey which is mostly muslim... I can't see the insult btw. This and other Korean dramas are made by Korean people who are predominantly non-religious or protestant. That's why they can show their art or history without consideration to religious groups. If it really bothers you as your religion orders you should close your eyes/ not watch, and not tell others to stop. There are many shows that are made by Muslim people for Muslim people... or very family-friendly kdramas, just not this one with 21+ age limitation.
Let me start with saying I donāt mind heated scenes or nudity but Man I donāt know what kdrama you been watching!…
'Traditionally, Korean dramas were created to air on Korean TV stations and therefore were subject to strict censorship. Even the ones that air on Korean cable channels (similar to HBO) are subject to censorship and donāt include nudity. Violence is censored too, for example sometimes youāll see that knives are blurred out, tattoos are blurred, etc. Many of the dramas you see on Netflix were created by, and originally aired on, Korean TV so they were originally produced as censored and Netflix just licensed them to show, so they canāt do anything about the original censorship.
However in the past year, Netflix has been paying Korean creators directly and producing its OWN Korean content which goes directly to Netflix and never has to air on Korean TV at all, therefore avoiding all their censorship.' I got this from reddit you're actually correct. but as films were not bound by the same laws we got movies like Empire Of Lust and A Frozen Flower. Still, there are series that imply some-kind of sex scene like Suspicious Partner or when in historical dramas they show going to the brothels or that one bad prince that is heavily implied that šservants.
In this series except in the first episode with King and in the 3-4(I don't remember when was it)episode with Go Bal Gi we didn't see anything as I said, we wouldn't see in a beach. The other 2 scenes were clothed. The biggest difference I think from old kdramas was the amount of violence they have shown. Even in historical wartime dramas, they would not show this much. But I like it, for showing the period it was successful.
I finished the series today and man... MDL became a really bad place. Of course, people can complain about too much nudity etc, but if it is not your taste just skip the series. When I'm not too fond of something in the series, I do that. Complaints about ruining kdramas are absurd, I have watched kdramas and cdramas since 2014 and as far as I remember kdramas and movies are full of nudity, sex scenes and violence. Even if it is not shown on the screen all the time, it is heavily implied. Some of the most famous actors also played on eroticas.
Also I want to add if your biggest objection to this drama not being kid-friendly is nudity and not the violence, torture, and killing scenes you're just tripping. Go watch cocomelon or something and not a 21+ show.
For people who haven't watched the series and are confused because of the comments: This is not a House of the dragon style show, there are no extensive sex scenes, and actors are mostly clothed on those scenes, nothing you wouldn't see on a beach except 1 scene with a bit b00bs. It is not a 10/10 show but generally fast-paced and interesting.
I have a few concerns about how Netflix structures its seasons. One major issue is that they often limit a season…
Can you link where it says it has 2 seasons? As far as I see on internet, there is only 1 season that is made of 2 parts and no renewal information. Plus Queen U's story can be concluded if they don't want to show queen politics as the next chapter will be only her marriage with the next brother
I'm also struggling to choose between these 3 dramas. So far, I've been delaying Love's Rebellion lol.
yes, snowfall has a more interesting and unique storyline, and dashing youth even though it is a prequel, it is good directed and edited. I will try to watch till 6 as all the people here commented says it gets better, but definitely not my priority now
I wanted to like this but the first episode didn't captivate me... I don't know what it is but it kinda felt like bad script, cheap dramas. I love the ML in his other dramas. Between Snowfall and Dashing Youth shall I also use my precious time to watch this? does it get better?
Till the end of 5th episode I only saw a weak victim FL and an evil ML who is okay with hurting bystanders. I would be okay with this show if FL and ML will not have a romantic relationship but it is very unlikely for a cdrama to have main leads not to end up together romantically.
