Title Love the Way You Are Spoiler
Thoughts about eps 29 & 30:
* I actually kind of did like that conversation between Miss Xu & Yi Ke. Also, I'm glad that until the end they kept Miss Xu only interested in Guang Xi's work.
*I also liked how Yi Ke & Guang Xi honesty talked about his decision t leave for work or not. Usually, I'm not a fan of time skips in dramas but this was a small one & the way they showed it wasn't so bad.
*Also, thank you writers for not giving us a breakup!
*I loved seeing Yi Ran & Chen Ye at the amusement park with little chen. I'm happy with their ending, though I wish we could've seen more of them. I lowkey would've liked to see them as the main couple or have a spinoff.

is this good? hows the romance? hesitate to watch this
I think it's a worth a try, if you can get past the connection that FL & ML have. The romance is easy going & feels natural, by that I mean the way they transitioned to being lovers. They are pretty straightforward with each other so the conflict they have isn't with each other but with people/things around them.

When does the leads get together. Spoilers please. Also is there any secondary couple if there is who are they.
I can't remember the exact episode but it's pretty early on. There are two secondary couples though they aren't officially together until towards the end of the show. Yi Ran & Chen Ye are one & Yi Bo & Xiao Mian are another.

Thoughts about ep 27 & 28:
*Though I don't care about them as a couple, Yi Bo's confession was bold.
*I loved seeing Yi Ran & Chen Ye being domestic.
*It was touching to see Yi Ke's dad want to give her/Guang Xi money to support them.
*I feel bad for Chen Ye. All he wants to do is raise his son & work with his employees. Some will say he's foolish, but he's a good man apologizing to the one who caused the company damage.
*I'm not sure exactly how Guang Xi working for Miss Xu's company will solve their plagiarism issue but I'm curious.

Title Love the Way You Are Spoiler
Thoughts about ep 25 & 26:
*I don't think we'll see the last of Miss Xu trying to poach Guang Xi (especially because of what happened in his company) but I hope her interest stays being only work related.
*I would feel bad too if I was Xiao Mian but she saw Yi Bo drinking/being drunk so why would she automatically assume that he would remember what happened? I mean I guess she was giddy that she finally got her love but she didn't even think to have a conversation about what happened the night before.
*It was so nice to see Yi Ke's dad defend her/her relationship to Guang Xi to the gossiping neighbors.
*I'm not here for the "let's redeem Ze Lin by making him sick" plot but I did like how Yi Ke & Guang Xi communicated about it. I feel the same way as Guang Xi - it's not right of his mother to emotionally manipulate her like that nor does Ze Lin deserve her help after what he did to her, but I'm glad that he supported her decision.
*I wish we would've gotten more moments between Yi Ran & Chen Ye (they should've gave them Xiao Mian's screentime).
*These two episodes did feel a bit like fillers (by trying to create drama for the remaining episodes) but, minus Ze Lin's stuff, it was still tolerable for me.

I wasn't feeling the first episode & the second episode was a bit better, but still hasn't completely caught me yet. However, Seo in Guk's acting is a reason for me to see if it picks up for me with next week's episode. I'm also liking Kang Mina in this role.

Thought about ep 23 & 24:
*Though Xiao Mian was actually useful for once by helping Yibo understand his father & vice versa, I still don't care about her.
*Yes, I will gladly take all the scenes of Yi Ran & Chen Ye, especially with Chen Ye being open about his feelings. Also, it's nice to see Yi Ran with little Chen.
*I hope Miss Xu is interested in Guang Xi as a worker rather than a lover because we don't need a love rival being introduced with 6 episodes to go.
*Yi Ke & Guang Xi have been pretty firm about their feelings for each other so I'm not worried about them wavering. I'm worried that Miss Xu will pull a Ze Lin & try to blackmail either of the couple to get what she wants. (I hope they surprise us & don't go down the love rival route with her.)
*Though he was overbearing & made me roll my eyes at times, Yi Ke's father genuinely wants the best for her (though I personally don't like his way of going about it) so I'm not surprised that he accepted their relationship.
*I loved seeing Yi Ke & her father have that heart to heart talk. His concerns are valid but I'm glad that he was able to finally listen & respect what she had to say.
*Also, once again, I say thank you to Auntie Lan for being supportive. (Listen, after the horrible SITR mom triggered me so bad I'm so grateful for a character like Auntie Lan. & thinking about horrible SITR mom is also part of the reason why I found Yi Ke's talk with her father satisfying to watch.)

The last episode, especially the later half I think, left me thinking that it could've been better. First off, I didn't care for the secondary couples at all so I could've done without that. & I understand that they were trying to continue to show us that relationships have bumps along the way by having the FL & ML argue, which I kind of like but didn't really like the way it was executed as it robbed of us more sweet moments between them. Overall, the acting was great & a main reason why I enjoyed this drama.

Thoughts about ep 21 & 22:
*Ze Lin did say he wouldn't help her with the lawsuit if she didn't go through with marriage with him so I shouldn't be surprised but he's such scum. Yi Ke should've threatened him by saying I'll tell the police the truth of the accident (yes, I know she's too nice to do that.)
*Maybe others think the lawsuit plot is dragging (in real life they can take an extended period of time to be resolved) but I'm actually curious to see how it'll turn out.
*We need more moments of Yi Ran & Chen Ye together.
*I'm really loving how Auntie Lan is strongly in Yi Ke's corner & is letting her husband know.
*I'm also liking how Yi Ke isn't wavering.
*I'm glad that although Yi Ke's father is objecting to the relationship he isn't being over the top horrible about it.
*I was wondering if they would make something happen to one of the parents so the couple could be together without that obstacle. But, even though her dad appears to be sick, I don't think they're going to kill him off.

Awww this show is really good. I love how the whole thing got revealed to her dad and I think it won't be an issue…
That's not the way I was expecting their relationship to be revealed, like I thought it would be Ze Lin telling her father at home, but it was more entertaining to watch this way. Sure, it was dramatic but my blood pressure didn't rise like it did when watching SITR's reveal. & I think it feels like it won't be an issue since she has the support of Guang Xi's mom & her brother so let's see if they're able to wear down her father. Since they've kind of followed the major plot events of SITR & there are 10 eps left, I'm a bit worried they will also follow the break up plot. But, like someone else commented, I hope that they go another direction & make it different.

Thoughts about ep 19 & 20:
*Little Chen is cute & his dad needs to thank him for helping make things easier with Yi Ran .
* I wonder if that lady from the company that is suing Yi Ke's company is going to play a bigger role later. (I think her name was Miss Xu but I'm not sure.)
*Even if it was childish, I laughed when Guang Xi took picture of Ze Lin's car for violating the parking laws.
*I guess she could've been more firm (but I know that she "had to give him face" since they're working together) but I like that Yi Ke was pretty clear to Ze Lin about where they stand. I particularly enjoyed her telling his coworkers that they broke up months ago.
*Her reasons for not telling the police the exact truth about the accident make sense (because I also wouldn't want to be even more involved with Ze Lin) but Yi Ran is absolutely right - you let him off now & he's going to come back even more crazy the next time. (I hope it's the end of him but we have 10 eps left so who knows.)
*I finally don't have to be anxious about how her dad finding out about them. I don't know about others but, even though it was a dramatic reveal, it didn't feel so bad for me. Maybe because Auntie Lan was there to take him away.
*I like that Auntie Lan & Yi Ke's brother were both on Yi Ke's side & calling out her father for his thoughts & actions regarding Ze Lin.
*Yi Ke's father is prideful & I don't agree with his views or actions but, when watching him with Auntie Lan & his son, I got the feeling that maybe he won't be huge problem like I thought he would be. Of course I still expect him to object & be upset but not to an extreme level, at least I hope so.
*As I mentioned, there are 10 episodes left so I'm kind of nervous that they'll drag the conflict with Ze Lin as well as the one with her father.

So I HATED, and I do mean HATED Something in the Rain. Since this is a remake, how close is it mirroring SITR?…
I almost didn't continue watching when I saw others saying it's a remake but it's actually not so bad. Based on 18 episodes, I'm personally liking this much better - though the acting is better & the love is more passionate in SITR. Some of the main plot is the same or similar but the tone is different. As others have mentioned, it has a lighter vibe & I don't see it feeling as dark as SITR even if there will be great conflict as we near the end. So, if you hated, didn't like SITR, or dropped it, then I would say don't let that stop you from at least giving this one a chance.

To answer your concern about the horrible mother character, there is none here. ML's mom tend to take FL's side when her father is nagging her. FL's father will probably be the one to cause problems about their relationship since he's already made troublesome remarks to FL about working & marriage (but I don't know if anyone could be as horrible as the SITR mom). Given that the leads are step-siblings not related by blood, at least his objection to their relationship will be understandable. & for those wondering, while I do think FL & ML being step siblings is weird, they knew each other as kids but weren't raised as a family together. It's not clear when the parents married but ML was abroad for years before returning as an adult. I wouldn't really say I ship them but I'm interested in seeing how the show deals with their relationship.

I didn't look at any teasers or read the synopsis but wanted to give it a watch for Lee Jae Wook & Jung So Min (who are not disappointing me at all). Although from the start I thought that the CGI was nice, I got the same feelings as I did when I first watched Arthdal Chronicles - that I really have to pay attention to the world setting if I didn't want to miss out on stuff. So, I wasn't really feeling it until Naksu's soul entered Mudeok's body & she met Uk. I'm loving their dynamics already. I love the idea of her being an assassin, in a weak body, teaching him. &, just like I ended up feeling about AC, I think this drama has potential to be something unique.

Okay seriously when did late 30s, early 40s become middle aged? I must have missed that memo cause I would have…
Right, it always makes me giggle when I see comments expecting characters to be more mature because they're older. As if when you reach your 30s you suddenly make the best decisions all the time, become an expert at relationships with others, & you can't show a silly side of yourself. While growing older can bring you experience, it's also situational - which a lot of viewers tend to forget since we see things from an omniscient point of view.

Thoughts about ep 17 & 18:
* I can understand Yi Ran's anger at misunderstanding Chen Ye but he kind of brought it upon himself by not being honest with her from the start. Still, I felt bad for him during the fountain scene.
*Also, I can't wait to see Yi Ran warm up to Chen Ye's son because we all know it's going to happen.
* I'm not entirely surprised that Guang Xi's mom found out that they're dating but I was surprised that she seems like she's supportive. It's not as if I expected her to go SITR mom status but I wasn't expecting her to be so calm.
*When that man from the gaming company wanted to sign the contract so quick, I knew there was something fishy about it. I'm very curious to see how it'll get resolved.
* Though he's overstepping boundaries, I can't really blame Yi Ke's dad for inviting her ex to his birthday party since he thinks that they're still together & going to get married.
*I was hoping that we wouldn't see Ze Lin anymore but I had a feeling they were going to bring him back to create conflict. I'm fearing they are going down the SITR route with him after all.
*I get why he did it but it kind of annoyed me when Guang Xi stopped her from telling her dad that she broke up with Ze Lin & how he said they have time to tell him about them - like how much longer are you going to wait?
*I bet Ze Lin is going to be the one to expose their relationship to her dad & it's going to be a mess.

Does anyone happen to know the name of all the songs used in the drama so far? Below I'll write my thoughts about eps 9 & 10 so if you want to avoid spoilers, then read no further.

*I'm glad that her & Min Hu were able to resolve their misunderstandings quickly & be honest with each other (though he's still keeping their connection since they were young a secret).
*It was so satisfying to see her tell Ji Young that Min Hu is hers.
*It was nice to see her& Pil Yo get closure, as now she's learned how to not let what she sees in the future scare her from enjoying the present.
*It was funny seeing Min Hu act strict at work so he wouldn't give it away that they're dating & I loved seeing all their fluffy moments at work.
*There's two eps left to fully reveal what happened during their childhood & what the intruder/stalker's intentions are so I'm a bit worried about that being rushed.

First half of this drama was very enjoyable, until the 2/3 mark it was still ok, the last episodes were not so…
Agreed. I can't call it a waste of my time because, though it wasn't very good, it was entertaining enough to pass the time - until we reached the last episodes. Like you, I'm not even saying that because of who she ends up with since I didn't really care about that. The writing just didn't set up things well & the way they tried surprising viewers with plot twists backfired.

Thoughts about ep 15 &16:
*If they didn't want to be caught by her brother, then why would they be acting lovey dovey near her home?
*Her brother brought up good points about objections to their relationship but I'm glad that he reached an understanding with her.
*Whatever I feel about the relationship, it's nice to see that FL says she's learning how to cherish herself. I hope she will stand firm by that as she (& their relationship) faces more problems.
*I like how the aunt supports Yi Ke & tells her father to ease up on her (regarding marriage), but I do wonder how understanding she'll be once the relationship is revealed.
*Chen's son is cute but I don't know why Guang Xi covered for Chen in front of Yi Ran (then again he is also keeping his relationship a secret so why wouldn't he lie for his friend)
*Xiao Man needs to be fired. She doesn't even know how to do her job & had others doing it for her. What a waste for the company to pay an employee like her.
