Omg same! I went into the drama totally blind. I didn't even read the synopsis before watching 1st ep lol I actually…
I had forgotten what the synopsis said but the title made me think I knew what I was getting (a fun, silly romcom) & then the first episode said "you're wrong!" Of course, I do find some things comedic & fun but the overall vibes are different from what I thought & I'm ok with that!

I started watching this because of Moon Ga Young (& Yeo Jin Goo has been good in the dramas I've watched him in too) & I only read the synopsis when she was first announced as the FL. I didn't watch any teasers or anything else so I was pleasantly surprised watching episode 1. Upon finishing it, I was ready for episode 2. I like the mystery & fantasy aspect of the drama & I'm loving the chemistry between our leads. These first two episodes show potential for it to be a great drama so I hope that it can continue that way until the end.

(About ep 14) Generally, I would find it annoying that the main couple is getting interrupted but here I found it so funny seeing the ghosts scramble to stop Seulhae from thanking Chawoong 😂 On a serious note, Ahreum's backstory is sad but I was happy to see her live out her dream the way she did. It's going to be bittersweet seeing her & the others say goodbye to Chawoong & Seulhae.

I really, really think that even with Taejoon and Taeyang, they needed more time to build up the character's relationships…
No, I felt the same way. I don't have a problem with love at first sigh or insta love but they could've done a better job here. I felt it from Taejoon's side but from Taeyang it was lackluster. &, yes, you're so right about other sports dramas, especially cdramas. That's part of the reasons why I enjoy sports dramas & was initially excited about this one. (Unfortunately, it has fallen short but I hope the last two episodes will at least end on a strong note.) Aside from what you mentioned, another thing is that their relationship feels unbalanced with Taeyang being the only one to rely on him with her problems while he was keeping his troubles to himself because it would cause her more hurt.

Same I find myself really bored with the second leads and I just fast forward their scenes now. Yeongsim and Seungwoo…
The second couple seems like the writer just wanted to give us another couple. There was no build up for Junghwan's feelings & Yoomin is cringe for me so I also don't pay much attention to them. As for the others, as I said, I don't dislike them but I don't really look forward to their scenes.

Someone farther up described this as a good drama in that silly low effort romcom way, and I think that's a good…
I don't mind tropes. If anything, with all the darker dramas that have been airing for some months now, I think I'm in need of tropey dramas.
On Destined to Meet You Jun 4, 2022
If you like contract marriages & are looking for something with not much conflict, then this is a decent web series. I need more web series like this one to save for when I need something quick to watch or am in a drama slump.

Right, she was so happy & didn't think twice about how it's disrespectful to her relationship.
Exactly. I was waiting for him to say something like "well, let's see how you react when I go on a blind date" since she already thinks he's petty.
On Love All Play Jun 3, 2022
This is an unpopular opinion but, because of the writing & execution, I find it a bit difficult to really care about any of the characters besides Taejoon & Taeyang (& even Taeyang kind of had me not caring about her since a few episodes ago). I don't hate the other characters, except for Taejoon's mother, but I wouldn't say that I'm invested in them. Actually, I wish Youngshim & Seungwoo would've gotten the screen time of Yoomin & Jughwan. I feel like their stories would've been more interesting & I'm not just talking about the romance but their individual stories. Anyways, we have two more episodes to go & Taejoon has been through enough. So, I hope the writer isn't going to make him have a career ending injury too like this episode & the preview seem to show.

Though of course I prefer this to how he was before, it kind of feels weird seeing Junghwan be friendly with Taeyang lol Anyways, I understand Junyoung not wanting to have anything to do with Taeyang &, to some extent, I understand her mother feeling the same way because she also sacrificed & was dedicated for J's sports career. However, it's so upsetting to see them disregard Taejoon's feelings, especially his mother as I would say she's acting even more hurt than Junyoung is. All we've seen from his mother is how she puts J above him & my heart is still aching from when he asked her if she could take his side for once. But here she goes & dismisses his relationship/breakup by saying thank you & that he'll meet other girls, which could be true but was insensitive. I really don't think they could give her a redemption arc that would make me like her.

Which is fitting because this drama here is the new work of the Mystic Pop Up Bar writer 😉😁 And hard same.…
Oh, I didn't even pay attention to the writer! No wonder it gave me a familiar feeling! Yeah, there's been a couple of recent dramas that have fallen short in terms of finding a perfect balance so this is a welcome surprise for me. (&, as I mentioned, when thinking about the ghost dramas that I've watched, I do think it's one of the better ones.) I haven't watched Crazy Love but I agree about Mr. Queen & Vincenzo. I randomly think about how we need more dramas like those two.

I haven't watched any other version than this one and I'm loving it. The thing is, it's really campy - so everything…
I don't mind goofy & I'm in the mood for something that won't make me think too much, which it sounds like this drama will fit the bill. Thank you for taking the time to give me a thoughtful response :)

It took me a week to catch up with the latest episodes & I'm surprised that this drama isn't getting more attention. I love that it's a fantasy mystery with the perfect balance of comedy & romance. The leads have great chemistry together & with the group of ghosts too. I also really like how they weave their past lives with the present. There's 4 episodes left & maybe this is the high of finding a new show I like, but I think this is going to be one of the best ghost related dramas that I've personally watched (it'll follow Mystic Pop-Up Bar which is #1 for me in case anyone was wondering).

I'm thinking of watching this but wondering if I should/just wait until it finishes airing. I didn't watch the American version but can someone who isn't comparing it to that give me their unbiased opinion - like are you actually enjoying this or watching because you've already invested time? Are there many annoying characters &, if so, do they help the plot or are they there to waste time? Would you recommend this or tell someone to watch something else instead?

Its okay for people to express different opinions. But please, manner takes a first place. No need to ask someone…
On my own posts I will write something like "please don't comment if you want to argue" or "this is probably an unpopular opinion" but I won't write those things that you said on someone else's posts. It's easy to ignore & scroll past posts, unless they are very hateful or trolls that need to be blocked.

Title Love All Play Spoiler
I'm glad that Taejun finally told Taeyang that he is Junyoung's brother. I was dreading her finding out from someone else. Her reaction was what I expected & I want to be hopeful that she'll trust in his love to not breakup, but I know she has her issues regarding love & the writer will probably want to give us more conflict.
Now, I have a mini rant about Yoomin. I really didn't feel a type of ways toward her until she started her pursuit of Junghwan. As I said before, it's baffling to me why she likes him when I don't think he's shown many good sides to her. (Yes, I know sometimes you like people for simple reasons as their looks.) & I know that feelings don't go away like that but even her response to finding out that Junyoung is his ex had me asking what are you doing? You know that there are unresolved feelings between them (that's not saying they're getting back together but they haven't gotten proper closure) & your mentality is basically "let me bring down Junyoung to show that I'm the better choice" (before anyone responds that she didn't say that, I'm not quoting her words but her sentiments). I know that's a common reaction in "love triangle" situations like hers but I personally don't find that way of thinking appealing at all. She was upfront with her feelings to Junyoung & I don't think she's one of those cliché evil love interests so I'm good with that. I guess I'm just disappointed that they reduced her character to a lovesick girl (for someone who doesn't deserve it) when it would've been much more interesting to see her own journey as a badminton player (though that part of the entire plot was placed on the sidelines for a while now too).

The fact that people in the office knew he was having an affair & the people who were in her office heard when his wife called her but no one came forward to speak on Mijung's behalf & also the fact that Mijung was hit too (& seemed like her injuries were worse) but maybe was the only one punished made me upset.

i know Junyoung is being so ugly but imo she did say something right, now when her guilty is eating her up she…
Yeah, from JY's perspective, it must've been tough to see her bestie cover up her role in the accident & continue to play on & win like nothing. JY also couldn't have talked to the people around her with the truth about her feelings because that would've only burdened them, or so she thought. It's easy for me to see why she would feel bitter/hate/etc. thinking about the situation/people involved - though she's not very likable with her words & behavior.
