Acting has nothing to do with his reaction. That's the script. You can see visual changes on the face. Or physical acting. He can look teary. The director or the script can specify that the actor raises his voice or go into a whisper. Or make gestures. I have read drama scripts before to see what is written there.

All these are not connected to the actor's ability. However the actors ability to emote or use their voices to convey the emotion is what distinguishes a great actor vs someone going through the motions.

How does those scene relate to my comments about his acting skills? Haven't you seen other poor actors? They go through the motions but but those scenes don't touch your heart. If the script doesn't tell him to say xyz lines, behave his body in a certain way he won't. Bad or good actor or not.

Man I've stopped at ep 15. Its going to be terrible waiting until ep 25 to 28 airs. That's when I intend to watch. I am just going to stay away. I have started 3 Chinese historical dramas and they are not holding my interest. Let's just hope

I wished I had waited till it finished. I have another modern Cdrama on hold and 2 Kdramas on hold and all I want to watch is this. All i want is nice modern romance that is not too complicated. This suits me to a T except there are 12 more years to jump and 18 more episodes before it ends.

The male lead is not arrogant and I like the FL. She has self esteem. Her friends are also really nice. There isn't any girlfriend I don't like.

The 2ML and 2FL are totally unlovable.

You can concentrate on the main couple. And oh both main leads,are not whiney and hopeless.

If a neurosurgeon can't be confident who can? I am talking about surgical specialities here.

He technically operates on the brain where an unsteady hand can cause paralysis. So yeah if he is NOT cool under pressure the writer hasn't done their research.

He's handsome. Clever. Has a good job. Girls chasing after him. However he thinks the grass is greener on the other side. He needs to have another rich girl chase him. In another drama. Rong can still be the whiney, vindictive, entitled 2FL

I am actually more traumatised because they started this story in 2011 and we are still at 2013 or 2015. That's a long time to reach 2025. I hate such long time frame plots.

There has been so much whining about Zhuang Xu. If he is still so prominent doesn't that mean the writer wants him there? Still an important plot point. We can't do anything about it.

I accidentally clicked on some spoilers yesterday about future plots. My own fault. I think I prefer watching the drama as the episodes are aired. I am actually enjoying the story. SWL hasn't changed much acting- wise from years ago. Its a pity though because he is easy on the eye. I have missed seeing him on screen.

I need to stop watching this show. The waiting is killing me. I am going to finish off episode 13 tonight and hold off till ep 25 or something.

😂😂😂I can't believe it. They really chucked the sister out of the story. This has been the funniest idiotic writing ever.

Then they did the best epilogue ever. Who ever knew? Jang Ki Yong's dancing is so cringy its adorable. The epilogue itself was adorable.

The writers deserves to be shot. Yet the casting people were the best. The main leads are just so photogenic and charismatic.

I can't even comment more about this show. Good to have caught it. Almost zero rewatch value.

My mum came from a rich family. Them stories are common to me. Only one branch is a crazy rich Asian branch. The inheritance fight and swindling was straight out of a drama. I believe one of them owned a bank. Grandad had 4 wives. 3 of them at once. So there you go.... Cdramas are not that far off from reality. So are evil and bitchy mother in laws. Not mine... others.
The rest are just normally rich. Or educated. I am the odd one being middle class and not technically struggling but I have to watch my spending. It does not help that other parents these days are spending that much on their children. Makes it hard for the rest of us normal people. Gotta say I can't believe what beliefs, behaviours and how nice it looks like to be able to afford such luxuries.

I just watched ep 29. Its a miss for me. The leads are good looking true enough but I don't like those sort of drama vibes. Its a personal taste thing. It has nothing to do with the plot or script. I just don't watch that sort of pacing. The actor is really good looking though in a manly sort of way. I am actually going to check his bio and another of his drama to watch.

But everyone knows family background features heavily in all dramas. It doesn’t matter if they use it or step away from it.

Is it bad to find out both leads are rich? I don't have to worry as much about low self- esteem and not having the other party be retreat.

You know how many actors there are in China? I went to his bio and he hasn't done many shows. He is only 24 years old and has all supporting roles. That's how I get past any hate. The actor has to look good, have the on-screen charisma, pick a good script, have a strong agency to survive.

That's how I get past some really uninteresting actors. That is also the same reason why I happily drop some dramas for the same reason for popular actors. Who look so totally unsuited for their role and totally can't act. That's how they got the main role.

Oh dear. I was about to start Speed and love. Should I even read the ending spoilers for that show before starting?

This is my first time visiting MDL for this drama? Is it that bad? Then I won't bother reading more. I was hoping for more spoilers. I have zero intentions of reading personal rants.

I have been busy only had time to watch ep 12 yesterday. Apologies. Get together in ep 14 then.

So predictable plot-wise yet I'm still watching. Guess they will make up in episode 16. Is it almost done? This is the best JKY role so far.

There will always be better dramas around the corner but if peoole are not interested they are not interested. I read books for better plots but there are times I just want a good paced moderately light drama.
