Can't the writer find another plot? They wrapped up the other family's mess so fast. I wanted more romance between Mr Baek and Jingyeong.

Its fine. The romance hasn't started and its a 40 episode drama. I will watch it after ep 40 provided ep 40 is good. I have dropped multiple dramas after the ending was bad.

I went to read the synopsis. Its not my usual genre but I have not watched any of the leads at all before bar 1 drama The Glory. I went through their filmograpby. Amazing. I literally don't know who they are or watched those dramas. I will have to read all the synopsis one by one. Thank you.

In that case- will say though I think if Bai Jin Ting or Shiao Shan has a costume drama coming up I'd watch. If not I have actually finished about 8 ebooks the last couple of weeks. That's how few dramas have been interesting to me. Or no dramas except Blood River and Would you marry me? I think I dropped 3 of the web dramas last week. Yeah that's how few dramas have caught my interest. However someone suggested Mobius in this post. I somehow missed that drama so am off to watch it. It pays to cast the net wide to get recommendations you know. I don't have time to search for dramas all the time. I just watch what's on viki, Netflix, Prime and that is usually enough for me.

I have decided to wait till ep 40 airs. I have found a few modern dramas to watch so this can wait.

I watched costume dramas because there was no modern dramas. I actually watch a lot of Kdramas. I just didn't rate it because its 2 episodes a week. I didn't feel like writing a review.

Chinese costume dramas finish in 3 weeks or so. I rewatch modern dramas a lot. I don't watch or rewatch costume dramas. I especially hate palace politics.

I watch Chinese costume dramas because of some actors. My favourite dramas are modern dramas. I have been pretty peeved off actually that I haven't had many modern dramas to watch this year. I have rewatched 1/2 dozen modern dramas while waiting. I am currently watching Would you marry me and You are my secret. Then about to start Mobius. Once Blood River ends I will be going back to modern dramas.

I rated Cdramas because I write fast and it's only 10 min of my time when the series end. No biggie to me. Compared to some of you prolific viewers I might have completed less than 10 costume dramas this year. This includes the web dramas.

I didn't complete The story of a female General, The Glory- missed 4 episodes, the 2nd part of The Blossom, then another costume drama- with the tall actor- missed about 4 or 5 episodes because the brother dies, dropped almost ALL the xianxia dramas at about ep 18- 20. Whatever they were- didn't finish it.

I thought Fake it till you make it wasn't to my taste but ended up really liking that drama. One which I would recommend to anyone.

I am. Will wait for ep 40 to air and then fast fw. I really liked the initial synopsis that its the yougnest brother. But the comments are not encouraging. I had no problems not even starting the other 2. I really wanted to watch. Like really, really did.

Its episodes 3 and 4. I want to know the post sadness episodes are worth it. I absolutely hate itwhen dramas kill off my favourite characters. Wei Jun is currently my type of guy in a drama. Mature. Nice. Ethical. Manly.

And he gets killed. The MLs is all my dramas this year have been pretty boys. Or skinny. Mostly pretty boys. They don't even look as if they have outdoor hobbies.

So when I hit my perfect, perfect Mr Cdrama male lead and he gets killed in 4 episodes? Almost tempted to skip it.

I normally like the actor playing the male lead. Normally.

Hence my hesitation.

I am one of those who like fluffy rom com but even I know what slice of life dramas are. I watch it when I am in the mood. When I feel like a growm up which I am.

I am waiting for this to finish. I might watch this where else I absolutely would not touch When life gives you tangerines. That's not my type of drama.

So plot- wise its still going strong? I trust in the acting thats why I am commenting on it.

Yo. Can you get beyond Victoria's acting? Should I start this drama now or not?

I know her acting. I've watched a few of her dramas. I am fine with her roles. I've rewatched a couple of them because the story was good.

So... more importantly how is this drama? If the plot is crap then I won't start. I finished ep 1-2 and know ep 3 and 4 will be sad. However if the plot is stupid then I won't watch.

I've watched The Double at least 5 times for the story and sizzling chemistry. However the actress looks way older but I'm still ok. Its the story that sold me the drama. So if this story is good I'd watch it.

I watched The Legend of a Female General but skipped the last 5 episodes because the story wasn't gripping enough. The FL was so pretty, soft, had the most perfect perfectly moisturised no wrinkles skin for a female general. No muscle mass at all. I stopped watching because of the story. Yet I rewatched another of her dramas Love me love my voice like 10 times. Its my feel good drama.

So to me the drama plot is quite everything. Victoria Song's acting won't be an issue. Her chemistry with ALL her male leads are the same. It is what it is... but if you tell me the writing is crap, the scene transitions are illogical, the fight scenes unrealistic, the supporting cast or secondary romance boring, no one is likable.... those are the reasons I won't bother with the drama.

In comparidon Blood River has entertained me for 34 episodes. I don't even like costume dramas normally much less wirework fight scenes but it has entertained me. That's what I want. I am not watching the other 2 that's why I need another drama. I have literally nothing to watch Cdrama wise besides Blood River. That is ending today. I am looking for a drama to watch. There is not a single modern Cdrama to watch currently. Love's Ambition is not my thing. I watched a few episodes

Get a grip. If you don't like Victoria Song's acting either drop it or live with it and finish the drama. Her acting is always like this.

When did SCH join hands with Prince Yong? I don't think I fast fw much or at all for this drama. And only noticed it this week. What happened? Didn't they meet with Prince of Langya?

Yeah sorry. I just came to see if express was going to be out. I was super annoyed with the trailer spoiler. I still haven't watched ep 34 now because if its going to be bad news would postpone it.

Are there any new to the series viewers here? This is my first time watching it and after reading all the DY and TBOY spoilers I am completely turned off from watching it. It doesn't matter how good it is; its turning me off seeing the comments about who dies there.

I happen to like the Prince of Langya and SCH's characters. I do not like how they are seen in the other series. My memories will only be here. In this series.
