it was the last ep, Viki messed up and released ep 12 instead of ep 11, now they finally took it out hours later
Lol ok. No wonder I was the one who watched it. I didn’t check the episode no. I went back to check; the episode is different. No wonder the subs were not synched. I understand Korean so I just switched it off and watched ep 12.
This is hilarious. Ok then I am done with the drama.
Well I watched it on viki. I just a comment further on. Apparently it was episode 12 by mistake. The subs were wrong so I just switched off the English subs and watched. I understand Korean anyway so it wasn't an issue for me.
Hi I am still enjoying this drama. I am afraid I chuckled a lot for ep 29. I have never seen Wang Xin Yue mopey and sad before. I was laughing way too much when he was devastated. Has he even played a character who is so emotional before?
Do you guys have any follow up dramas? I finished 1 Cdrama and 1 Kdrama. 1 Kdrama is making me bored but its ending. There is a new drama which is on episode 1. Other than that... noting. Not even a modern drama. Is there anything comimg next week? I saw that there is a new Johnny Huang drama but the storyline doesn’t grab me.
This is a tiring romance. How did the FL become a marketing team leader? Is she in the marketing team? Beer. Marketing. Competitive market. How did she end up being so passive?
I am tired of the sister in law. There are a lot of aspects of a one night stand that could be tackled. The writers made it so draggy.
I forced myself to watch ep 9 and 10. I will finish it but man it sucks that Choi Jin Hyuk doesn’t have a lot of work. Is the the calibre of the scripts he gets these days? His last drama wasn't that great as well.
Wdym? FL's gonna find out who's the mastermind behind her family's murder and get revenge. It's been very clear…
I know the plot but how its going to be done? Its not actually going the normal route. The villains are not shown plotting for 27 episodes. The only senior figures in the episodes so far has been the Emperor, the Grand Tutor and the Du guy. Which is totally fine. The side plots take up whole episodes.
Why would I want a conventional story progession? There are hundreds of dramas with those story progression.
And this is PRECISELY why I don't watch any BTS. Spoils the story.
And I am outa here. I read more than I care to know. I would rather enjoy the journey rather than have the angst of knowing who gets killed or dies next. We all know its death, death left, right and centre but at least the drama is not shoving it onto the viewers all the time in all its graphic glory.
I cannot believe that I literally don't know where this plot is going.
Underhanded betrayal and murders are commonplace plots. However with the way things are moving I don't even know at this point what is the original motive.
However I am really enjoying the main leads relationship at present. This is just lovely to watch.
I didn't want to comment about her body but as I see it has become kind of controversial, I'll drop my two cents.…
I won't belabour the point but just stating facts. I am Asian myself and have had several friends who were extremely skinny naturally when they were younger.
Her height and weight were stated in 2024. I am not a fan who knows if she is skinnier now as compared to 2024. Back then her 165cm, 40kg, BMI 14.7 would put her in the weight disorder unit.
However calculating that a healthy body fat of 12-19% for her age group and she stated her body fat was 5.6kg; she was having a 14% at that time.
She also has a trainer. So I presume she wanted that %.
We can't do anything about people in those industries because we are international fans. Its hard to watch though when they act. There are some actors who are like that and I had to stop watching his dramas. It was just too hard.
This was just a comment but it was specific because she revealed the numbers rather than people speculating.
Wang Xin Yue has never looked as manly and hot as he did in episode 13. I have never had palpitations over him as I know how young he is. But that scene- you guys know which one so I won't have to put in spoilers- made me sit up and take notice.
Xiao Huai Jin is Xiao Huai Jin; just another in the line of clever male leads. We even have MLs who are good in martial arts, are nice guys, have titles, have power, have looks etc and etc.
However out of all the contrived stories and scenes- wowza.
Whoever knew, I didn't know myself that I'd find a find a guy who can't fight, stays in the background, soft spoken to be so sexy.
Just basking in the moment there tonight.
This drama isn't perfect by all means but this low key flirting which I am not sure would even lead to romance is keeping me interested. I am not even asking for romance in episode 34. I am not even asking for a happy ending.
I am genuinely curious if the female lead would end up killing herself with poison or not by episode 34.
I started this last night and just completed ep 3. Geez the suspense is real and I didn't read any spoilers. I am so tempted to go to ep 10 but just steeling myself not to do it.
Its so hard not to fast forward any scenes to get to the current storyline.
This one’s been a great ride for me. I think you should start it. Honestly, any K-drama with Ji Sung is perfect—I…
Yeah I know. I am considering this because it is him and he always chooses good dramas. Intense. But good. That's why I need to be in the correct brain space to start any of his dramas.
Should I start or wait till it ends? I am at loose ends currently with almost all my dramas completed but am in no mood for a historical drama. Its either this or Undercover Ms Hong but that has so many episodes left.
I have caught up till ep 4. Who is the writer? Its so trite.
I like Choi Jin Hyuk so do or die will watch this till the end. However the writers need to tone down the revenge plot. And the vengeful bitchy sister in law.
I thought this would focus on the one night stand and then the couple's chemistry will carry the show.
The actors can all act. The directing is ok but omg the writing? Both the leads are not having regular job opportunities. I actually want this drama to succeed on their behalf.
I think you should start it bc if you don't like it you can always drop it. And selfishly, most people myself…
I'd finish love between lines before starting. The actress is young. I was wondering why there were no kisses in S1 because of it. Mouth to mouth doesn't count. The kisses in Love between lines was mind blowing. I went from chaste historical to ep 21 Love between lines yesterday.
This is hilarious. Ok then I am done with the drama.

Anything? Thanks in advance.
By the way the cliched ep 11 was the best episode so far to watch.
This is a draggy miserable romance. I don't expect storytelling depth but they could at least do something about their character and plot.
I love romance dramas and watch and rewatch. Sorry. For some reason the rom com label for this drama is too funny.
I was checking out his movie and variety show roles as well.

May I just ask what happens to Xiao Jin Li? He was such a nice brother in S1. Did he get any story line? Thank you

The next scene shows her having her resume. I finished ep 2 and don't quite know how it all happened. Is she malicious and power crazy or something?
