I am waiting for ep 27 and 28 now. I wasn’t expecting ep 25 and 26's plot twist. Goodness me.

It took me a few days to go from ep 1 to 2 because life got in the way.

Episode 2 was a bit brutal. Because I am way behind... is this the way the novel and drama is for the other chapters?

Trying to mentally prepare myself that people I like will be dying left, right and centre. I am not rewatching the ending song again so I won't get be reminded when it appears.

Only 14 episodes have aired so another 24episodes. I am hoping that ep 20 will have aires by the time I catch up. Then I'd take a break and wait till ep 30 airs before I continue. Just in time for the express package to drop. Much more saner to watch these bloody historical dramas. I'm not swearing. I am saying that's what this drama will be like. Blood soaked, suffering and pain.

I am not even going to hope for a romance. I mean a sappy, happy romance.

You have no idea how hard I laughed in episode 25. I really, genuinely did.

I had some inkling but dismissed what I read earlier but the drama went there. Still it was a pretty good drama all the way to ep 24.

I was thinking only in dramas because there are little issues like morning breath and nature's call etc.

Did the ending OST tell the whole 38 episode drama plot? It really did. There was so much angst that I will or have decided to watch the dramas in blocks of 10 episodes to be less frustrated.

I started. This looks as if the director is trying to be slick. So much CGI and sped up camera work. You know there are actors out there who look as if they see sunlight. The daytime fight scene transitioning to the random night scene with the blacklit general? I have been laughing since I started watching.

Oh I know the actress. I like her. Its the description that made me laugh. We have both been watching some female general dramas lately. I left the last 6 episodes unwatched. Couldn't stand it.

Yes but remember The Legend of a general? Did she look physically strong enough to be a general? She didn't even have muscular arms. I guess holding a sword is considered strong. I ain't making a joke. I cannot pull an drawstring back to shoot an arrow but could carry a 40 kg person- I was doing some training.

I am about to start episode 1 but for some reason the tag " physically strong female lead " made me laugh. Will the actress be flexing her biceps? The actor is also skinny. I remember his back view. He is also " physically strong. "

Who does such descriptions? Its hilarious.

The cameramen and the director needs to be scolded. Haven't they learnt to film or edit a video?

The ending scenes are making me daft. The scene transitions like a PP then its set to auto focus so becomes closer. When its done over 40 times it makes me dizzy. Who the hell thought it was well edited? Its one of the worst edited videos I've seen.

I was watching ep 6 I think and I laughed so much. You know how you wish to have stronger FL on some dramas? Or the actress looks too weak. Or girly?

Then we have Lu Zhao who just casually kills everyone. No mercy no remorse. How did she die in the first place if she is so accomplished?

Good lord this Lee Chae Min has charisma and he can act. He also doesn't have many dramas under him.

Bon apetit your Majesty has performed way better than I anticipated. Quite rewatchable.

Episode 1 is a bit lush looking isn't it? Its this really a web series?

I am sure I started 2 others last week. Spring Fever and The Crush.

That's 3 for 3. It's not the best but all 3 leads- yes the same FL for 2- can act. The male leads are good looking. In fact the actors here are also very good looking.

However I am extremely chuffed to find chemistry between all 3 couples. And fast moving plot lines. Goodness me I feel like pinching myself. I have literally dropped about 6 historical dramas the last 3 months because its been bad so I am so happy to find 3 short dramas that are so watchable.

They have Korean actors who can speak Mandarin. For some reason they decided not to dub most of them. I speak Mandarin and Korean and it was so awful only understanding some of it.

Holy cow. In episode 11 alone? Oh geez.
