How DID they cast such a lot of good looking actors? They all look plastic surgery to death including shaving the jaw surgery as well but they can act.

I laughed so hard in ep 24 at the new 2nd couple scene. I mean " really, you did xyz because of your ex and then you fall in love? Just like that? "

Yeah. Its one of the funniest bad writing I've seen in a long time. Even the title of the drama makes me laugh.

She's pretty much a doormat. I think I cringed when she packed him a bento. I packed my kids lunch boxes but only because school lunches are expensive and not exactly healthy. Unlike the Japanese school lunches.

Ok episode 5 made me hungry. The schnitzel made me hungry. Not the fruit sauce. I am trying to recover from the tartare sauce for the schnitzel.

There is on question I felt like asking in those historical chinese drama. When did the Chinese start cooking with cooking oil. I am remembering all the deep fried fish dishes.

Well it was an anatomy revision. Too bad I wasn't paying attention. At one point I was wondering if it had the coronary arteries but then the blue highlighter came on 😂😂

It was actually a better looking heart than I had seen on other dramas.

There are worse. I just dropped 2 other dramas.

Well the King is sorta floppy and lame. The other Wuling Mountain master is also not the strongest actor and the couple chemistry is not great.

The other evil guy is better. The bug eyed Queen was or is too bug eyed to take seriously. Its OTT.

So yeah its a great drama. I like it. Its not a 10 though.

Costumes. The costume designer keeps making Jin' an push his sleeves up. No 1 the clothing pattern is too complicated to weave for that time period so its obviously modern. No 2 NO ONE else in the world drama has the forearms exposed. I love RC but he doesn't have enough of the bigger arms or masculine forearm to carry it off when the costume designs are overwhelming him and made him petite looking even when he is 181cm.

The repetitive pulsating heart scenes are repetitive. The didrector devotes about 8- 10 seconds of screen time when it happens. So there are a lot of superflous movements.

His subordinate who discovered his identity who was then just killed by the evil guy? That was such a randomly jarring moment.

The confrontation scenes just didn't have the omph.

So all of us who rated didn't rate blindly.

Is she worth it? She doesn’t have much of a personality.
