Thx for reply. I saw the leaked scrip column here but I didn't want to read it. I thought it was very odd in ep 18 that XY suddenly figured out CX was behind the assassination of TSJ. No wonder I felt very odd with the story line. So the S2 isn't really like the novel. S1 was very close to the novel though. I wonder if the no. of eps were cut down from 35 to 23 caused a bit of mess here.Oh well, if it isn't CX in drama, then there maybe no poisoning by XY... That was a real highlight of the novel to me... I am curious how this will end since the course of story may change drastically 😆 Thx again 👋

In DRAMA ; Fangfeng Yi (FFYY) used her son to bring out Jing & XY because she conspired with Tushan Hou who wants to kill Jing . It ended up making Jing to be almost got killed by Hou, and FFYY changed her mind at last minutes and she killed Hou. And all of these conspiracies were arranged by CX and XY found out about it. I got really confused to read the comments here because some wrote it was FFYY who tried to kill XY instead of XinYue, the queen.
In BOOK ; I remember in the book it was CX arranged the killing of Jing using FengLong. And it was XinYue, the queen who tried to kill XY because she was jealous of XY who CX only loves. XY survived assassination by queen at the sea because XL saved her.

Agree. I read the novel. And including S1, I think drama scrips are similar to original. The novel is such a wonderful work so I am glad they may stick around as same as novel. BUT you will never know what the outcome will be since this is C-drama 😂 I just hope no drastic difference.

XY was waiting in red to be snatched by XL who wore also red , who also want to be wed with XY ( or red from broken heart 💔 = presenting bleeding from heart?) but XL cannot fulfill their wish bcoz XL has his obligation to avenge his general. He never declared his love and he made sure that XY wouldn't fall in love with him. XY will never know his true feeling towards her. That is my understanding.
