I hardly watch modern dramas but I came here bcoz unique story of modern era with ancient set up. Unique to see royal family dress up with beautiful Korean outfits, too. And I love female lead's cheerfulness character and opposit of cool sad looking male lead.

I heard this director is famous for detailing many side characters. And each dots connect and audience can understand the story better. No wonder I like this director, bcoz I watched 5 other his works w/o knowing they were his works!
This drama, unlike typical C-drama, it gets better and better. And all of side characters especially villains male are too good looking and I cannot dislike. Deng Kai, especially, such a psychopath, but he is too handsome to hate lol.
This drama made me sob hard couple episodes earlier, and now this. Too funny 😂
