I realized C-dramas are made from many novels and many of them are very long. So it is hard to squeeze novel into just 30-40 episodes. I usually separate drama from novels, becoz as you wrote, some are made quite different from the original novel. Once I liked the dramas, I usually read the novels. Bcoz almost 100%, novels are better than dramas 😆
