I really enjoyed the drama. They had to be smarter to complete their plots against enemies and I didn't watch this as romance, but more for politics and plots.

Ice cold hearted female and puppy like male. This drama is super funny 😂 I cannot wait when FL falls for him deeply.

I don't know what type you like, therefore , I enjoyed ; Be my princess, Autumn Ballad, Royal Rumours. They are all romance and his works are mainly that.

Okay.... but what ML wants is to find out who poisoned him, right? Is there something else he wants? Of course he wants to marry FL. (Or ML has other motivation?) And FL is as you said, she wants to protect her family and she wants a peaceful life, Marrying to ML is perfect since he is supposed to die within 3-5 yrs and securing the crown princess position is high ranking in the society. (FL said so in the earlier episode). There are no one else but ML to marry now after rest of them are no good. Therefore, why why why Shen Xihe is so strongly stubborn to open up herself to Crown Price who seems to be truly loves her.... why? She is so cold and I only saw her little smile when the flower bloom at night.... 😮‍💨

Well said 👏 One thing I notice is there are lots of fan of romance drama at MDL. Some even said two boys (Fu & Wen) have BL vive, which it didn't even cross my mind at all 😮‍💨 As you wrote, some posted there aren't enough romances in this drama, so they are dropping it. Too bad, they are missing great drama.

This drama is more about friendship, trust, encouragement and love. I don't know how many time I cried after ep 10. Their stories moved me deeply. What a wonderful drama.

?QUESTION? I like 2nd CP, the one dressed up as man to avoid marriage. In many historical dramas, pretending like men to avoid duties or go to men only school get heavy punishment. This drama is fictional period, right? So even people will find out he is a she, she will be okay? Can they be a real couple????

Thx for the link. I read few of Kitakata's books and his writing is hard boiled style. I happened to buy the '水滸伝’ by ' 陳舜巨' translated in Japanese. Bcoz his writing was softer and easy to understand. What a coincidence that I bought this book only few month ago. I will read your article later !
