Yes, you maybe right. Bcoz the way she was stabbed in right middle of heart....But I really loved Princess & Feng CP, so I wanted them to be together, so kept my hope for typical C-drama tricks, you know, fake death to escape forced marriage using this attempted murder bcoz Feng is too low ranking for princess and etc. Oh well, I watched too many such script drama in the past 😂
After watching Ep32&33, I think she is really gone. Like some comments here, Mr. Feng wants the closures. I kept hoping for 'She faked her death', but I guess I was wrong ....
Ep 33. My predictions of what happened at the Lishan was very close. I guessed it right. However my prediction about Princess L and Mr. Feng looks like totally wrong 😢 My hope is kind of shuttered.....

What I meant is It has been pretty flawless but I get bored with perfect female characters who do never thing as planned or perfect scripts. So both main leads made mistakes; (1) ML didn't fulfilled the promised he made to FL (2) FL should have told ML about edict/mom much earlier. By forcing us to watch their separation, drama gets more exciting (including upset feeling, angst and sadness). I believe they also realized how much they love each other. Ep31 gave me more meaning of their relationships and I cannot wait for their reconciliation with steamy scenes 💋 which is quite missing from this drama !
What a great episode #31. I wish everyone read the yesterday's posting by someone here who wrote what director said about their separation ! This hiccup is the real human mistakes that many of us makes, including the fictional characters here, two of our beloved main CP ! f you are disappointed with their separation, it's too bad, but I kind of understood the intentions of this director,

I believe that's what exactly director wanted it. I read someone here posted the reason of separation explained by director.... it's indeed gave us quite a shock and angst ! Great directing! Don't you think?

His hair was already turning grey, then this happened. Acute stress can cause a condition called telogen effluvium, leading to sudden, massive shedding of colored hairs, which may suddenly make pre-existing grey hairs far more visible. So it's not really in over night but it's possible. And this is also a fictional drama too. It's called dramatic scenes.....
Every time Cheng Lei acts 'upset/ mad / pissed off' kind of scenes by raising his voice, I really get scared. He is really that good of acting!!! This time it was Ep 30 at the prison with Maquis M 😡
Oh you too? Great, Bcoz they never show Princess after the incident. No one knows exactly what happened, right? C-drama is famous for lots of lots of poison or meds that to create SITUATIONS if you know what I mean 😂
Ep 30. I do not like the ending of storyteller's novel. Hopefully it was done like that on purposely to make us worry about outcome? BTW my prediction of Princess Lingyun was totally wrong. BUT even so I am still hoping for some miracle for Mr. Feng.....I wonder if he traveled to find the fact... if you know what I mean for viewers who are the fan of Lingyun ❤️ Feng couple.
