Boy... ML's lies are like snowballs, it's getting bigger & deeper, and he is liking her deeper and deeper.

It's not a typical 'lost memory' drama. Nuance is totally different so it's NOT boring at all. I also like so much because story is focus to main CP relationship up to now, and not too many political story interruptions. And there is no heavy #2 CP story (but lots of jealousy issues though). 2 eps a day is lot better than no eps on weekends. I can enjoy the drama daily! Finally the viewers comments here are mainly very nice and peaceful!

Both ML and FL are wonderful. What a great drama! Both have such a great chemistry! That makes this drama more enjoyable.

If ML is part of royal family, probably no chance to get married with FL unless she is from high ranking family. But we don't know exactly who she is yet. This is very exciting drama. There are full of mysteries!

I think you can do binge watch but I am enjoying to watch daily episodes. I believe this drama is a romance between ML & FL who started relationship with zero romance, so it's important to establish their love relationship. I don't recommend skipping ANY scenes 💗

Can anyone tell me what is the position of Prince of Huaiyang, the Male Lead's title. Is ML one of the sons of emperor? Episode showed very young child was called by woman as 'your majesty', is that the emperor's son? Not familiar with Chinese titles. THX

What a great drama. I love the few comedic elements and ML/FL chemistry are great. Story line gives me anxiety for future episodes of this whole set up as husband and wife.

You are correct. In the book XL made the blood jewel looks like red pearl with blood from XY then gave it to merman, so that it will save Jing's life. I just wish the S2 was 35 eps as production original submitted. It was cut down to only 23! I'm sure they had to edit a lot to squeeze into 23 eps 😭

In my home country, it was very common to marry among close relatives in ancient time to secure their blood lines. Even in the Egyptian ancient time too. So you cannot compare with modern moral and ethics I guess, and some comments were written here very harshly criticizing about it or showed dislike, but this is a fantasy drama! The writer can create any character as they wish. TH did great job creating such versatile characters!

Hi there 🤚 I think as I remember in the book, CX was consummating with YY(queen) on wedding day when CX says XY's name, he will need to have an heir so no love towards to all wives but he will have heir for sure since he has at least like 9 wives?! 😆 But CX lost XY forever and he may not find true love. I just hope he will move on and find his love ! Book is so well written !

It was XY's tear (from S1) that she shed on the shell boat and XL turned it to pearl and kept it until the end. I believe that represents XY's love to XL so he put that into his body/soul as forever love.
