Finally I completed 40 eps. I think the last 10 episodes are the perfect 10 score. It's sad to know many ppl dropped it in the middle of drama, then they truly missed the very good drama. I almost dropped it around ep 15. The reason is bcoz romance between ML and FL took too long. I'm usually okay with slow burn romance, but this drama was exceptionally took too long. Especially if viewer like me who wanted romance fantasy, earlier episodes got me little bored but I'm a big fan of Xiao Zhan, so I wanted to continue to support his drama. If you are the one dropped it, then I truly recommend to restart again. Don't miss at least the last 10 episode. They are the BEST of this drama.

I almost dropped it around 15 then some told me to be patience. Still couldn't continue but I love ML, so I fast forwarded A LOT between 16-29 as being suggested. Then started full watch from Ep 30. Until the end last 10 eps were the best of this drama. If you want, try once again. FL gets better later episodes.
i'm happy that I'm able to watch Kingdom since manga was good. I felt Shin and Oki acting are bit over the top, I meant little over acting, but then I realized this is based on manga, so director must made them act as such, it's my guess.
#3o-#34 Finally getting more interesting, I'm glad I didn't give up. I don't mind slow burn love but this one took more than 2/3 of drama to show clear love 💕 between main CP, but it seems their love is turning to dark story. aaggggrrrrrr. 😢 And I'm so slow to realized BX is FL of Fireworks of my heart 😆
What a cute drama. Very unique set up. It's so refreshing to see this type in C-drama. Costume, fantasy, beast clan, bit of modern nuance and silly funny. And puppy eyes of ML give me smile and heart beating 💓
Wow, if you like Dracula, zombies, horror type drama, this is pretty good for short drama. I'm really enjoying it! BTW, ML was lead actor in Fake Princess? He looks totally differ from before. It's almost two different person. Eyes are so different. Is it bcoz make up???

Do you know if ML used his voice or dubbed by voice actor? He does sounds stiff including his face expressions. Maybe bcoz too much make up? FL acts very natural to me. I feel not balanced acting between ML and FL.
I just finished 'Destined' and I loved it. I wonder story lines are similar to Destined? Married couple who will grow side by side and their love will become stronger? They will also overcome many ups and downs? The video clip / trailer seems to be very dark but the drama explanation here seems to be very happy. Either way, I'm waiting !

It's true that core of the story of LZS was pressed into only few episodes at the end. We were able to see him here and there throughout the episodes, but he wasn't there enough for me ahahaha. Bcoz this drama is all about main couple's growth and their true love, so LZS was only the side story. Well, the reason why I watched this drama was mainly due to Liu Xueyi. But of course I like Bai Jinten too, but I always ended up liking the second lead 😂 And it's always Liu Xueyi who play second lead.
Anyway it was nice talking to you about this drama. I will come cross or see you again here at MDL once Liu Xueyi's dramas will be aired in the future or some other drama we both like or watch ❤️

I actually guessed how it would end for LZS in different way. I thought the ending would be more dramatic for LZS. His father , J. He, stabbed LZS to stop his craziness and sin in the drama, but I thought LZS would stab J. He not knowing he was his real dad, then LZS would find out right there that he actually killed his own father. This is how LZS would pay his sin by killing his own father. Then GJS and LZS would go into fighting, and LZS would let GHS kill him easily bcoz all the guilts he had. Father and son with little breath left and talk all the past and they die together. I think there were few drama with similar tragic ending to give little sympathy to even villain like LZS. (I noticed viewers who didn't pay much attention to LZS's character truly hate LZS as real bad guy. Sad)
I agree that the drama would give more time and scenes for J. He and LZS to show viewers to understand of who LZS is, but my friend said, then this drama will become Liu Xueyi as Main Lead instead of Bai Jinten 😂 it's true, though.
I know LZS was villain and did so many bad things but I feel his pain, so I end up repeating Ep#39 and #40 like you. ( I teared for LZS's assistant when he killed himself. He was royal and he knows the pain his master went thru. He wasn't a real hard core villain.)
