I just finished 'Destined' and I loved it. I wonder story lines are similar to Destined? Married couple who will grow side by side and their love will become stronger? They will also overcome many ups and downs? The video clip / trailer seems to be very dark but the drama explanation here seems to be very happy. Either way, I'm waiting !
I just watched episode 40. And I liked the episode. At the beginning of the episode Luo Zi Shang, he calls Jiang…
It's true that core of the story of LZS was pressed into only few episodes at the end. We were able to see him here and there throughout the episodes, but he wasn't there enough for me ahahaha. Bcoz this drama is all about main couple's growth and their true love, so LZS was only the side story. Well, the reason why I watched this drama was mainly due to Liu Xueyi. But of course I like Bai Jinten too, but I always ended up liking the second lead π And it's always Liu Xueyi who play second lead.
Anyway it was nice talking to you about this drama. I will come cross or see you again here at MDL once Liu Xueyi's dramas will be aired in the future or some other drama we both like or watch β€οΈ

Very nice π I think I cried the same spots as you are.
I actually guessed how it would end for LZS in different way. I thought the ending would be more dramatic for LZS. His father , J. He, stabbed LZS to stop his craziness and sin in the drama, but I thought LZS would stab J. He not knowing he was his real dad, then LZS would find out right there that he actually killed his own father. This is how LZS would pay his sin by killing his own father. Then GJS and LZS would go into fighting, and LZS would let GHS kill him easily bcoz all the guilts he had. Father and son with little breath left and talk all the past and they die together. I think there were few drama with similar tragic ending to give little sympathy to even villain like LZS. (I noticed viewers who didn't pay much attention to LZS's character truly hate LZS as real bad guy. Sad)
I agree that the drama would give more time and scenes for J. He and LZS to show viewers to understand of who LZS is, but my friend said, then this drama will become Liu Xueyi as Main Lead instead of Bai Jinten π it's true, though.
I know LZS was villain and did so many bad things but I feel his pain, so I end up repeating Ep#39 and #40 like you. ( I teared for LZS's assistant when he killed himself. He was royal and he knows the pain his master went thru. He wasn't a real hard core villain.)
I donβt think he would turn evil, he seems to always have soft spot for Anle. IMO he potrays a calm, collected…
I'm traumatized by his character in Heroes. He seems to be nice to Anle and get along with Prince, but I felt LMX may secretly in love with Anle..... oh well,it's just my wild imagination, bcoz many C-drama stars with funny then turn into tragedy. I'm keep crossing fingers that he will be as nice as early episode.
AvenueX predicts that this is the end of BL in Chinese dramaland. Ugh I hate her so much.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufdKLNT8dMI
My other SNS follower who is very familiar with C-drama said the same. There is BL base drama by Leo Luo( Luo Yun Xi) , that may be also not aired. But my follower said once rule will change in the future, we may still have a chance to see them. My follower also predicting based on her information, so not facts, but I am hoping to see this one since I loved Chen in Hidden Love so much. Let's cross our fingers!
It seems that Liu Xue Yi got a new character to play at the end of the year: a kind of villain in the drama: "Kill…
Thx. I just checked his name in MDL and he has mainly main leads waiting to film. I am very disappointed with 'Love never fails' won't be air, but I am hoping when the time goes by, rules may change so that it can air one day. That was my most anticipated drama of his ....... π’
Yes, it's true about Liu Xue Yi, his character is not a simple villain. It's hard to say, but yes, he's a sensitive…
Thx. You read the novel, right? I read many of your comments here and they helped me understand the drama better. I think the later half editing were slightly bad, so the rating of this drama is bit lower than it should have been, I think. I notice C-drama tends to have rushed ending and it gives me little disappointment. But I really enjoyed this drama a lot and I will probably repeat watching it time t time.
You talked about repeat 40 times, well, I do have one that I repeat the last episode as much as you did. It's called Moon Lover (K-drama) by IU and Lee Joongi. Very tragic drama, but it's my #1 historical drama of all times. I know I will cry hard at ending, but somehow I kept watching it over and over. I usually don't like sad ending tho, But it was really good. Ciao
I just finished watching. I now want to read the original novel, bcoz I felt later half, dots did not connect well. And I wished Liu Xueyi 's character had more appearance and more deeper explanation of his back story why he became such a villain yet he seems to be sensitive character, not like just bad ass villain. But in this drama, we couldn't see much of him. I felt many of his scenes might have been cut out. I'd enjoyed more if his character was the core of later half along with main couple's continuous story. Either way Liu Xueyi again did the wonderful acting in this drama and if he appeared more, he could have been the second male lead. Anyway main leads CP did wonderful acting and twist and turn of the storyline were great!
Basically she was afraid of losing her "family" again, especially since she was adopted at 10. It has not been…
Thx. She took family over her love when she was young. Oh well she was young at that time, but she is now an adult with career. However she still wants both, family and her love. It must be hard to deal when the mother is like that, who only care for status, I guess. The story is pretty realistic, i think. Good drama.
I'm glad rating is going higher, but I'm so frustrated with FL. She is so indecisive. And her adopted mom is mean and step brother seems to be mean too, or jealous. Is it common in modern China that social status gap to play roll in relationships like this drama? I see a lot of similarities in K-drama (modern drama),too.
I think so too. Everything went too fast and things just didn't feel connected.
#34: when ML finally met FL after 3 yrs, they hugged each other, them next scene was they were in bed together π ML had top outfit gone and he was in under garment. And I think they also edited by cutting a lots of scene by second male lead Liu Xueyi. his background story is missing a lot. Oh well I read the detail spoiler from original novel, so I understand, but some audience may not get enough story about him.
#34 #35 What a twist. Getting close to highest point of Gu Juisi vs. Lou Zishang. I think Luis Xueyi loves this type of character and he is sooooo good at it.
Yes, head to discussion about music from Peachey Blossom to find more Victor Ma music links in the replies there.…
OMG i'm watching all of them. ( Still on going. We must have similar tastes!) Destined = I'm Big fan of Bai JinTen, so i'm very satisfied. Story turn and twist, never boring, so very entertaining. Fireworks of my heart = finished #11. YY is being YY. I mean he plays YY himself. I think he likes this type of character. Did you see movie Vanguard? He was super cool. And I like FL. She is so pretty and good acting. I also watched William Chan's A date with future. Similar firefighter drama. Different from this one about romance set up. Both are good. Oh talking about YY, Who rules the world with Lusi was good. Well TLP, according to MDL viewers, it will get better after #8? I'm still #5. Somehow I tend to get slow watching it. But I will complete.
I agree I'm still in mood for HL. I kept watching bunch of bts at Youtube. Have a good day.
