I agree. I'm sure many patents put pressure to their children for the sake of their better future, but it becomes too much for some kids. The story is getting more interesting and little bit of romances are blooming here and there 💕

I'd like to say I'm her No.1 fan, but I'm sure there are many more like me. I watched all her dramas and I'm watching Gen Z now. If I have a daughter, I want someone like her, Her smiles are so adorable 🥰 She has done so many different characters and I think she is very naturally talented actress.

IKR!? TCM exists for over thousands years. My home country Japan learned and welcomed TCM from China thousands years ago. And we established our own style of 中国医学 called 漢方医学. That's why I'm really enjoying the drama to learn and see the family and ppl who are related to TCM & their philosophies (like 陰&陽), bcoz origin is from China. I've watched many C-dramas, however, this is one of a unique subjects and I simply like as family drama !

My brother in my home country only has one son and he has so much hope and wish for my nephew. And my sister-in-law spoil my nephew just like the mother in this drama. They are not chinese but the live in far east and I realize the similarity. I guess when you only have one child it may becomes like this family in drama. I'm enjoying this drama maybe because I see the similarities with my own family. 😂

This drama is truly a great family and human drama. I'm just surprised that the rating is only 8 as of ep26. I think anyone who is familiar with TCM will enjoy it for sure,

I just read weibo interview with producer of this drama who talked about 2nd series!!! He did NOT say he would make it but he said it could be about pirates. Then my mind went wild to write my own #2.

#2 can be ML&FL/officer Liu/Jin against pirates Guan&Nangong Fan while Su family tries rebuilt their business. I love the last conversation between Yun Xian and Officer Liu. That brought me this 2nd series idea. If the drama make enough money, they can make #2 for sure. I will rewatch the drama now (*o*)

What a great drama. I feel sorry for ppl who dropped or decided not to watch at all. Oh well everyone has their own taste, but this drama is one of my favorite this year, very classic costume drama with experienced performers.

I agree with you. I refused to watch sad ending for so long. I used to check if Happy or Sad ending. Then someone suggested to watch 'Moon Lovers'. I am so glad I went beyond my comfort zone to watch sad kind. It's my #1 drama and somehow I repeat watching last episode over and over even I know I will cry hard.

I totally agree with #1. This actor plays TX so well and he made me believe there is such evil human could exist in old time. His acting added superb in this drama.

I read some comments noted that they read original book and drama isn't as good as original. It's rare for me to find good book made into great movie or drama. Some noted, it's supposed to be Wuxia but there are too much romance. Everyone has different liking, so I understand. I simply like this drama and I wish ppl will try at least to watch couple episodes to make own decision instead of one person's opinion. Oh well, it's their loss. Ha-ha. Thx for yr comment.

I just finished Ep 31. It was the most emotional episode for me. Some Youtuber who is amateur to criticize this drama only after ep18 and told her followers no need to watch. Some decided NOT to watch this drama. I know there were slow moments but I love this drama. Lots of plot and sometime I wished some explanations for detail, but it's a very classic costume drama with mystery, laughter and little cry moment. I also love marshal art moments.
