Well said. It's the character author/screenwriter created. DW is now recognized of his good acting thru this drama and his popularity is increasing at my home country.

no wonder so many great C-dramas that started off great in the beginning ended up such a bad editing towards ending. i hope this drama will stay as good until the end.

😆I hear you, but Jing is actually smart, cunning, and he is the one doing behind the works for CX to take over the kingdom, so that his love, XY, will be safe forever, I think. I just finished chapter 17 of novel and it's close to drama ep 22,23,24. Author is also the screenwriter and so far drama is very similar to novel.

Oh thanks for the explanation. It is very clear now. No wonder XY's adopted father, the king of Hao Ling, loves XY even she is not his biological daughter. I think XL and CX take their responsibility before LOVE and the only person will give up everything for LOVE is Jing. Maybe that's the end game.
