I totally agree with you. The chemistry between WL and ZL brings this drama so well done. I also hope every viewers will respect all actors and actresses regardless of preferences!!!!

I follow YouTuber who does drama critics and called this drama ‘idol drama’. I usually agree with this YouTuber at many occasions with other dramas, but not this time (*O*). This is the type of drama I cannot wait for next episode. It gives me etching to wait for next Tuesday. It’s a great story of young men and women to grow and become adult kind of story during the ancient dynasty in China. I don’t think story line or actings are full of idol type, but quite opposite, very professionally done.

Wu Lei has grown up as wonderful actor as well as Lusi. Compared to early acting, both of them became such a skilled performers to attract many viewers, don’t you agree? I read somewhere that one of the professional person called Lusi ‘GIFTED’. I totally agree with him.

I also read some investors weren’t confident enough to invest to WL and ZL due to their young age and not-first-class or not-so-famous like other big names actors or actress, but I hope this drama will prove WL and ZL to become part of so called big names. They are even popular in Japan too. Lusi is one of the beloved actress over there. She is getting recognized internationally!!!

Ahaha, yEah if you think about it, CSS is only 15 with no love life experience. She is giidnat cunning life to survive, but very smart. Well, 15 maybe already adult age during these dynasty.

I think everyone are impatient because love between CSS and LBY is slow burn in this drama (^o^). It’s total 56 ep so you can imagine how long it’ll take them finally get together for good. (But I’m crossing my fingers no too long in the future. LOL). I keep feeling CSS feels something about LBY but she feel danger being with him so that she is compensating herself to look for easy love and life.

I love this drama even it’s a slow burn romance, because most of C-Drama usually have too many 2nd and 3rd sub-couples’ story lines and I usually get bored so I ended up fast forwarding it. But this drama is really focused on CSS with THREE. Not two, three!! I’d like to see how she will choose from these three (oh well we all know who *O*. ).

Anyway I just hope it won’t get bored in the middle because even high score drama became bored when it’s too long in the past. That’s where audience starts to fall apart, like ‘Heroes’ which started off really high score (@_@) .( I loved it since Liu Yuning was one of main lead). But end up lower than 8 at MDL. (Current score is still good though..Check it out. )

HELP ! Does any one know where I can find the SPECIAL episode of this drama? There is Episode 37 to show their wedding. I cannot find it…….thx.

Finally finished the drama. I like the drama. I think BCF is not hero at the end but this drama cover should be the pic of WXS, SMX and BCF. And DFJ was also a sideline hero for LC and his sect. All actors equally did wonderful job to portrait their character. I’m a big fan of Liu Yu Ning and he did great job to act ‘good to bad’ character despite his short acting carrier ( I think he started to act since ‘19?z). I am sure BCF is a very difficult character to play.

One thing I wasn’t sure is, at the very end, did Lei Chun go mentally crazy ? What I meant is did she lose her mind bcoz she lost her love; SMX?

Thx for sharing. It is always great when actors/actresses are able to ride horse in the drama. It makes it so real. For female, Zhao Lusi also can ride it!!!

Just finished EP12. What is so good about this drama are;

*Music/OST are wonderful. I got goosebumps with Miao’s solo singing
*When story gets really heavy in my chest (w/tears), I get to laugh at certain scenes such as ML’s one of silly subordinate. And of course when Lusi (CSS) does funny things. Our emotions are well balanced with up and down scenes. How come anyone call this drama boring!
*As I expected, out of control 15 yrs old CSS is growing up with this journey. CSS is indeed just like her mother. Strong will and she can face any fears. I think her mum and CSS is so alike. That’s why her mum is how she is. But I know now her mum loves CSS. She just doesn’t know how to love her. It’s easy to love YnagYang bcoz she is not her own daughter. I bet we will see her mum differently in the later episodes.
*Oh boy, Wu Lei, you are such a TSUNDERE (cold face looking but warmest heart) and fell in love at first sight with CSS. I am looking forward to seeing you more love action.
*3rd uncle, you are super nice but what a chicken *O*;

I wish there is ENG translated novel, but there isn’t (yet). I may try the Chinese version that I found at Amazon. Or I wish some one please translate it and post online (^o^)!,!,!

Completed up to Ep 8. I was going to wait for a while so that I could watch them all at once but I couldn’t resist.

I see here and there Shao Shang’s mom show some affection towards her but it’s hard to tell, if she is secretly cares for SS. Anyway so far her mom is so mean (or strict?) but I’m so glad everyone else are nice to her, especially two brothers and third aunt.

I just hope FL character will change in the future to be well liked. As you know novel and drama isn’t always the same. ( I kind of understand why FL is like the way she is. Never loved by her family, especially mother is quite mean to her. Hope LOVE will changed her (^.^))

I just finished watching Ep 4 and I couldn’t stop crying for FL (Lusi). Everyone has own opinion but how come some ppl simply dismissed this drama bcoz they don’t like the FL character? Some even said such a boring drama. Ep 1-4 were to establish and show us what kind of person FL was at early age. This drama will probably show us how FL will grow from all these experience and by meeting with ML will change her and her life. I’d like to read the original novel.

All the side characters such as mother, aunt and etc. acted so well to help portrait FL. This is so far a great drama.
