yeah, she is dubbed by the same VA as Bai Qian from drama Eternal Love (TMOPB)
Is there a way to find out who the voice actresses are for each drama's characters?

Well, I can say that Xia Xia is not your cup of tea then.
I loved 10 miles, pillow book, ashes of love, L&R, the legends......even Chinese Paladin 5. Though I admit I struggled with Love and Destiny.

All i want is for the doctor's wife to find out already, i don't know why they are trying to make it such a big…
Maybe the writer is trying to show that Trust is a useless emotion in the grand scheme of things ( its only ever for your own temporary sanity). Basically the wife's trust has no correlation with her husband's behavior haha.

Interesting comment. Have you seen the recently released movie Sweet and sour?
Ok I just watched it, interesting twist. I found it more creative than contemplative. Its probably a compressed version of 'serial monogamy in a nutshell' - although one may argue that she didn't even BU with the 'ex'

yahhh I was wondering which of the themes naturally from the industry and which are from the government HAHAAH
Although I can't imagine the CCP going ' hmm we like the trope where the medic doctor meets a soldier in a hostage situation, argues a bit and then falls in love. Please replicate accordingly'

Title Love O'Clock
I know that in chinese culture its extremely rudy to a clock but is there a reason to it? Like giving a clock…
Its not the clock per se but more of the phonetic equivalent. Song means send and Zhong means 'to the end/expiry' lol (which unfortunately just happens sounds like clock in chinese ). The same as the number 4 which is unlucky in chinese custom because it sounds like 'die'.

In equal measure the Chinese love objects that have phonetic equivalent of lucky stuff eg throwing seeds on marital bed during wedding ceremony as seeds sound like offspring in chinese pronunciation. Fortunately there are more objects that correlate to good luck than there are bad luck so there is not much to watch out for.

Title Love O'Clock
My first reaction when the grandfather gave a clock to the grandson was wow did he just 'song zhong' to the grandson lol. In chinese culture its deemed rude generally to give someone a clock and even worse if its an elder.

I find that a recent pattern of back to back chinese dramas that have very similar 'themes' almost like there was a race between production houses to emulate a certain other trope.

It does seem like one of those 24 episode fluffy Chinese dramas with 16 added episodes for a military/medical/police…
I think for You Are My Hero i stopped at episode 16 lol. I cannot imagine what else is there to the plot except maybe the 2nd couple's developments. You Are My Hero had less head scratching moments ( probably because it came across as far less plot-driven) but unfortunately it also came across as dull. Maybe I'm also rather biased as Sandra Ma is too soft spoken I got tired of straining to hear her coquettish whispers haha

Not yet, do you recommend it? Ironic as it sounds my drama addiction is so bad that I haven't had time for movies lol

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this drama ends at season 2 since the cheaters are now in a relationship stage with their cheatees. Their honeymoon stage can't possibly drag on past episode 8 right?...That hopefully leaves the 2nd half of the season with the wives dusting themselves ( except still clueless sa pi young....) and the cheaters realising everything came back to square one again and they should have just found new hobbies instead of new women.

Found this drama to be really good. They've engaged real models ( who can act as well ) in this production. At the start it looks low budget etc etc and the cast never quite made it big but there are no nonsensical plot holes , it is well paced, lots of nuanced scripting, wit and warmth. Think this drama is much better than many of the much-noticed dramas this year.

I guess FL will still blame the ML for her friend betraying her. I am still clueless as to why she is still defending…
Yeah I recall the scene where she confronted him about the 3D gun and when he explained he really wanted to hug and comfort her, she had a micro-expression that went " yess...i knew it, i knew you sincerely wanted to hug me but because you're such an efficient man, you felt you might as well drop the gun into my handbag while you're at it. And because you're the strong silent type, you didn't tell me about it. We are so making progress. I better go look at some bridal gowns tmr"

My psychological evaluation of the FL and 2FL LOL
FL - classic narcissist. Her choice of friends is an extension of her aim for perfection. How can her friends not be as wondrous as she is? If you really cared for your friends you will endeavor to consider that they might have fallen to dark paths so you can help them out of it. Denial is not loyalty.
2FL -....usually us womenfolk try not to use this term but for Mi Gu...i will just say it - Classic desperate-for-man case. Zhou Ran is probably the best looking guy she's come across recently so her hormones have overtaken her senses which probably isn't much to begin with since Zhou Ran's hairstyle is really bad.

Did anyone else think episode 20 was ridiculous? Xia Chu getting called while she's off duty to pick up an organ…
Maybe the greater the episode number, the more ridiculous it will get? Even on the inter-relationship front it is soap opera X5 level. Like a million years later Xia Chu still freezes like a deer caught in headlights when Zhou Ran appears ( I mean he is her childhood crush...not like they've slept together so I don't get her obsession ). Mi Gu is just a classic case of .................

I find the writing of this drama rather frustrating. It feels like the characters are sort of just there to abruptly behave in inconsistent ways to make things happen so the drama can last 40 episodes . if everything made sense, I think this would have been a 20 episode drama. So sad considering I like Johnny Huang and Li Qin so much ( usually )

This feels like International Year of 2nd Couples..... I think I lost interest in the main cp from the first few epis but the 2nd couple triangle is really moving things for me.

I can't pinpoint what is lacking in the main story because Park Bo Young's acting is no different from her previous roles.... Seo In Gook acts like he has a cloud over his head and that is precisely his role...The story is what it is..there's not much room to navigate from human - doom storyline.

I must say Jung Woo is really good at shouting haha. Must be kinda therapeutic to just let it out like that lol. The scenes with the FL's ex-bf makes me wonder whether there are real life instances like that, before the great unveil he was this awesome soul-mate on the outside....and then suddenly he becomes a raging lunatic!

First impressions - Is it going to be very different from You Are My Hero? I hope they exploit Johnny Huang to the max. Yummm
