Hmm the actress that plays Sae Yi also played the same type of character in Do you like Brahms. The friendzone-the-ML-but-wants-him-single-to-continue-adoring-her type.
so what does her husband want? why fake his own death and spy on her in the basement?? don't get it
Probably to either lie low from creditors , theres that recurring mention of a large missing sum ( likely a tanked investment) , or his plan was to embezzle the money and lay the blame on Yeo Wool ( which failed because she was acquitted)
Perhaps the husband did not expect her to go to Jeju and that was likely the dead principal acting on her own to find that missing amount of money?
I'm curious about his relationship with his 2 wives. Could he be using Yeo Wool all along?
I wonder if all of Na Yoon's flashbacks and scenes were meant to mislead the audience and she was in on the husband's plan ( hence the preview)
Still not sold on the ML. When PXR was announced I was hoping for someone like Alen Fang or Oliver Chen again.
If its Oliver Chen it will be like they are eternally not knowing each others true identity in every drama they were in lol. I hope they get cast together again, I have unfinished business with them.
The ML's mannerisms is a bit theatrical - maybe he has a more antagonistic role later on. He still looks villainous to me!
I agree with what people are saying The ML's sister is very irritating. She is too fragile and weak. And it's…
As i watch i am thinking that the car accident was caused by a paper lantern that had characters written on it including the word FL's family name Xia. Maybe the Ex lit it for whatever romantic reason and it fell on to the car windshield. Since it was He Bo that rescued the car, maybe the Ex ran away and broke off the engagement so that FL doesn't have to marry a potential murderer. He may also be marrying ML sis out of guilt - so when he saved her after their engagement, it wasn't out of love but perhaps coz he owes her something.
I can't explain the suicide though, i keep trying to look at ML's sisters wrist to see if there are any scars lol. I understand PTSD but why would she want to kil herself over an accident?
I think on top of accident trauma she has some underlying psychological issues. I consider her a plot driver ....if…
I know, who on earth talks like that in real life unless they are mental. Maybe its a nuanced approach by the director to make her sound creepy rather than innocent and cute. I think I've not forgiven Zhi Juan for breaking up with Xia Qian regardless of his intent to protect her, so this psycho wife is the perfect come-uppance. I find their misery incredibly satisfying. I hope they unveil the back story fast but I suspect it will drag to the end.
Anyone else finding the sister super annoying? What is this immaturity???

I like Wu Jin Yan's play here, somehow her slightly offbeat mannerisms make her a real interesting watch as a FL! I didn't quite like her other modern day dramas.
What I can't understand in Epi 1 is her Zhi Juan, her ex-fiance's story line. From his POV it suggests that he didn't break up with Xia Qian on his own volition but there was a suicide and a threat the Xia Qian's life - the car accident had a piece of paper with Xia written on it suggesting blackmail. Then 2 years later he is getting married to Sheng Zhe Ning's sister. However there is no indication that Sheng Zhe Ning's sister was involved in threatening Xia Qian's life because she was surprised that Xia Qian was Zhi Juan's ex. If it were the normal case of Zhi Juan's obsessed female stalker threatening suicide and murder of Xia Qian, then won't this psycho also be threatening Zhe Ning's sister?? Or if the stalker has somehow died, then Zhi Juan had the chance to go back to Xia Qian since he broke off the engagement to protect her anyway??

Unless somewhere in this there's a lot of exciting people plotlines, I suspect 41 is a real stretch for a modern day, repeated trope drama.
