its been a while since a drama made me cry like this. I know everyone hates the prince ning and i should too but…
yeah I usually get more emotional when an actor has a single tear or a couple of tears and serious crying without all the noise (i guess you can say) vs the ones that do the whole screaming "why!!" and bawls and bawls of tears
Its a good thing CK didn't take the non amnesia pill, I don't think he would have experienced the tribulation accurately. He needed to fall in love and experience those pains. If he had taken it, I think he would have tried to avoid falling in love with XY as much as possible, just as she tried to annul their engagement at the beginning.
Talk about drama, there were definitely a lot of very moving scenes today. Very heart wrenching and touching moments. The parents were probably my most favorite part. I loved their scenes today.
You can definitely feel the difference between their time in the mortal realm vs the time in the heavenly realm. The mortal realm is more serious and the heavenly realm they are all more jovial and happy and joking. YCY's little pouting face (she seems to be good at that) when she found out they were enjoying watching her while she was in the mortal realm was quite funny.
I have a feeling that the leader of the marriage pavilion (that old guy) might know about CK and XY from 30000 yrs ago. He just seemed to have that knowing look right before they went to welcome CK back to the heavenly realm.
Oh I can't wait for tomorrow's episode. This drama has me wanting to see every episode right now. I honestly haven't been this seriously involved and enjoyed a xianxia drama since TMOPB and The Pillow Book. There have been a few good ones since those, but nothing that has made me so excited to see what is to come as this one.
I appreciate your viewpoint, and I agree that personal attacks are hurtful and should be discouraged, but the…
I wish I had been around an hour ago to join y'alls discussion. I had to come to my computer to type my reply because I am not fast enough on my phone and make a lot of typos. LOL!!
I love, love, love this discussion. I consider myself a drama lover. I do have my favorite actors and actresses where I will see out their dramas, but if the drama itself or the chemistry or the story is just not there for me, I will drop it.
I have to agree about the avid (don't want to crazy insane, because I got condemned for doing that once) fans of actors/actresses. I recently made a comment about a certain drama and got torn apart, I have watched several of this person's dramas and have enjoyed the majority, but I just didn't like their recent one and I wasn't really commenting negatively just commenting on what I thought was wrong and what I observed. The "avid" fans didn't like that.
There are 3 particular high traffic artists, I know of that have very avid fans, recently at least. ( I know there are more, but lately it seems these fans of these particular 3 are more vocal than any others). I like watching Marcus Here! on Youtube, but lately the comment section has been driving me nuts, because it is overrun with a particular set of fans, that I almost don't even want to watch anymore or read the comments, cause they are to put it bluntly nuts.
So I just binge rush watched this drama. I was waiting for it to finish and I couldn't wait because I kept seeing news at how well its ratings were. I enjoyed the first few episodes up til when they finally got together and then it just got boring and slow. The acting is good, the story is predictable, but it just sort of lost momentum for me. So at about episode 9 or 10, I skipped to episode 14, fast sped watched, fast sped and skipped a lot in 15 and then sped watched 16 and I still figured things out, I didn't feel I missed anything important, I got all the jest of it. It was cute and maybe one day I will sit and actually watch the whole series.
I want to verify something. All the actions they made in this mortal trial are according to the mortal fate-book…
I think a lot of it is of their own will, but the main plot is is what Li wrote. Like for example, he says this is the synopsis of the story: Party A and Party B will fall into a lake, now how they get out of said lake or how they interact in said lake or how they actually fall in said lake is all on Party A and B's free will. Li gives the scenario and they take it from there if that makes sense. I mean maybe he does write more definition, but I think he just does a basic and they do everything else according to free will. If you think about it, he has hundreds if not thousands or millions of people he has to write stories for, so he might not have the time to write all the details...
His father dismissed all servant of the family because they were gossip about his family and Lu family. Also I…
I think I might have spaced out on that scene, sometimes when there is a lot of talking or I think it will be a boring scene I will go back to playing a game or browsing the internet lol. If I think I missed something important, I will rewind it and watch the scene again. I can usually focus better when I have 2 or 3 things going on at once, my mind is weird. :)
isn't Prince Ning the God of War friend in the immortal world? Why is he like this in the mortal world?
I think it stems from something that happened 30000 yrs ago. I believe XY and CK (from some of the drama tidbits and teases) had something together, but something happened and my speculation that Prince had something to do with it. XY is the girl he has been looking for, for the past 30000 yrs and when he realizes it is XY he is doing everything he can to be with her and not let her be with CK (God of War), so he tries to mess up their life in the mortal world so that XY will fall for him.
This is just my take, I am sure someone could explain it better, if it sounds confusing. I know what it looks like in my head, but sometimes my explanations are all over the place, lol.
Okay and another thing, lol. I know I am making a lot of comments, but I am doing so as I am watching atm. Why do they keep showing up 2 to 3 min tidbits of the stone and that princess (Ying Shi)? They add it right in the middle of scenes and honestly it is a bit dumb (for lack of a better word). If they really wanted us to even be remotely invested in their story they could have a longer section/scene, instead of doing it right in the middle of important scenes. it is like we go from something serious to utter useless nonsense back to serious.
How can the Prince just walk into their house? Aren't there servants around to announce when a visitor comes etc.? Some of these little nuances are bothering me. In almost all other types of dramas they always announce when a visitor comes especially from a royal family and he just walks in while they are in the middle of a conversation.
Prince character is going to hell tho, like there’s no way he drank the amnesia water cause the way he’s acting…
I don't think he did, because he brought his own drink when they were all there. He wasn't given one or grabbed one from the tray or whatever. So I am almost positive her knows everything. He gives me the creeps. I hate his character.
Who knows why the plot written by Xiangyun's immortal friends deviates? Is it because it's all about their own…
I think it deviates because the heavenly emperor messed with it. Do you remember when they were all sitting around watching XY and CK do their tribulation? The heavenly emperor came upon them and they all scattered and he was left alone. I think he messed with the plot. That is just my thoughts.
