I love reading your reviews. They are always so informative and well written. I actually dropped this about episode 2 or 3. I wanted to like it because the story/synopsis sounded interesting and most of the time I like Dilraba's dramas and I have been really enjoying Liu Yu Ning lately. As soon as I heard Dilraba's dubber, I knew I was going to not like it. For some reason if the dubbing is so obvious and just out of character, it ruins the drama for me and that is what I felt right away with this. Also, I felt absolutely no chemistry between the leads. I am not a Simon Gong fan and honestly I wasn't even going to start this because of him, but I wanted to at least give it a shot. I am.glad.now I dropped it and most likely won't watch it im the future. Thanks again for your review.

I thought the same about all the added characters. Seven Lives to get through and we are adding a lot of side characters.

me too, I hate waiting because if one episode happens to be bad then I start to lose interest, I hope that doesn't happen here

there is always a God of War, Demon Lord, Heavenly Emperor, etc in almost all xianxia type dramas. my guess is they used the word "compilation" cause it is written by the same author/screenwriter, I think and it is just a part of her works, cause I don't think any of the names are the same. I honestly don't think there is really anything in common with either.

Let's count the villains or antagonists. OMGoodness, there are so freaking many. I don't know if I have ever seen this many antagonists in one story before and right now this is just one of their seven lives. (although, there are a couple of villains or angsty people that are from the heavenly realm that are there to just cause trouble)

I love her acting. I think she is a great actress. But I know we all have actresses we like and don't like. Honestly, I think she is doing a good job in this role, but I may be biased.

I am really enjoying this drama and I haven't enjoyed very many xianxias lately. I like these two together. They are really cute and have great chemistry so far. I have always liked Ryan Ding's dramas, and I have liked Yang Chao Yue ever since I watched her with Xu Kai Cheng in Dance of the Phoenix. I am so glad I am seeing her in more roles, lately.

HH did get the divorce papers from her ex. She went to meet JJH to let him know, so I think yes, but there was no real official we are together. But I am pretty sure they are now.

The more they showed of him, the more I wanted to reach through the screen and punch him myself, so glad JJH got that opportunity. What a royal a**, I mean seriously, especially when he tried to threaten HH with never being able to see her son again.

Don't understand HH, she says she doesn't have feelings for JJH, than why does she try so hard to exclude him, not be around him, and get upset with her son (only briefly) when he tells JJH stuff? What an infuriating character.

In episode 36, did I see correctly? Did she just track that black car with her phone? (I assume it was her husband's) Why didn't she do that from the beginning?

I agree with your assessment of the husband never cheating. I think it was a set up by his boss and that other guy, to get HH off the trail or rather cover up the real reason her husband left. Of course the "other woman" was in on it and she just got paid for setting it all up.

Yes I loved the Bai Yang and RJ confrontation and their subsequent announcement, lol it was funny and cute at the same time.

This drama isn't the type of drama I would normally watch. I started it for Liu Yu Ning, because I have been really interested in his dramas lately. But the story in this drama is so well done, as well as the acting, that I couldn't stop watching it and wanting to root for these women and see how their stories unfold. I have been extremely impressed and have enjoyed watching.

Condolences on the loss of your mother. I can only imagine how much that scene meant and felt to you, it was definitely a huge tear fest for myself.

Lots of emotions with today's episodes. Other than a couple of scenes here and there, overall this drama has really been good. I love the stories and the progress of each character. Now the last 6 episodes should tie up all the loose ends and hopefully will end on a good note.

I have to say I love seeing other people's takes on the scenes/situations. Sometimes I don't see it from all angles, so when I read another's takeaway from the same scene that I viewed differently it makes it easier to piece things together and to understand from a different perspective.

I think the only reason I might watch it is because of LYN and Dilraba, honestly I am not a huge fan of Simon Gong's acting. I like the story/synopsis of LOA, so for that I might enjoy it. I am not a novel reader either. I usually go into these dramas without having read any novels/manga/sources/etc. So my view/critique is fresh without any previous knowledge, just based on what a screenwriter has done and the acting portrayed.
