I definitely like your Seven Tan choice. I could see that pairing work very well.
I think Dilraba does well with almost anyone she is paired with, but yes I would like to see her with Li Xuan as well.
Zhao LuSi also does well with any pairing. I haven't heard much or seen anything about Liu Hao Ran before, so I will have to check out some of his dramas. I want to see her with Wang Yibo, Xu Kai (I know she did a movie with him, but they weren't the final pairing and it was a SE), and/or Liu Yu Ning again ( I know they were a pairing in The Long Ballad, but I want to see them Main Lead Couple in their own drama).
The Yang Yang and Ni Ni pairing would be interesting. I like watching Ni Ni she just commands the screen in what ever she is in, YY does as well, so two strong presences might make for an interesting drama.
Oh and I would absolutely love a Bai Jing Tin and Bai Lu pairing, that would probably be an ultimate must watch drama.
I know when I post it will sometimes tell me "not found" or "error", so I click again. But I know when it does that, that there will most likely be a double post so I go back and delete the other post. A lot of people just leave them.
With Dilraba's popularity, I would've hoped her management would be more selective with her projects by this point👀…
I am so glad someone else pointed out the voice dub. I think whoever did the dubbing did a huge disservice to Dilraba. It just doesn't match or go along with her at all. Also, you can tell so much that it is dubbed and I like watching dramas where even though they are dubbed you almost can't tell. I may have to either drop this or watch later after I see a lot more reviews and see if it gets any better, because the biggest issue for me is the bad dubbing imo.
Which drama? Because HL is just finished airing yesterday
Yeah I get that. I was a bit confused as well. I was just assuming. I could understand with a TV series, but I get your point with it being an online drama, now that I think about it. They have several dramas airing at once and what does it hurt to air more than one episode as they normally do with other series.
I am going to have to wait til the subs get better. I believe they wanted to rush it out, since HL technically finished airing yesterday. So they threw up a drama everyone has been waiting for with autotranslated subs. The drama itself does look interesting. I am going to wait til the subs get better, hopefully soon before I restart this.

IMO, I think that is why they started LOA today, because Hidden Love just ended. HL and The Outsider were going at the same time, so I don't know why it would be an issue for The Outsider and LOA to be showing at the same time. Maybe they will increase the number of episodes per day once The Outsider is done /shrug who knows. I can't watch it right now, because the subs are so bad (like another commenter said, it feels like watching a Mango TV drama with their subs).
Old drama but my all time favorite Princess Agent. The female lead is badass. I still cannot tell what xianxia…
xianxia and wuxia are almost blurred now a days: Wuxia is more martial arts (ex. Side Story of Fox Volant, The Untamed, Who Rules the World, etc.) Xianxia has to do with fantasy and gods/demons, etc (ex. Ten Miles of Peach Blossom, Love Between Fairy and Devil, The Legends, etc.) then you have what I call just costume dramas or historical/political, ( The Long Ballad, The Story of Ming Lan, The Rebel Princess, Rise of the Phoenixes, etc. )
The blue whisperEternal love of dreamTen miles of peach blossom
I love The Flame's Daughter is one of my favorites and The Legends, Xu Kai and Bai Lu will always be my favorite on screen couple, their acting and their chemistry together is so good.
I shd learn to never trust mdl ratings, most drama with lower rating esp the ongoing ones I find better than those…
I started the first episode last night and if I wasn't so tired I would have kept going as well. Episode 1 was good and so far 2 is looking just as good. I am actually excited about this drama. I have been so picky about xianxia dramas lately, they just haven't really held my attention. I am hoping this one does.
This is one messed up comment section. I have never seen so much angst before. Almost all the dramas I watch and comment on, people are respectful of other's opinions.
I don't understand why we can't accept differences of opinions and go about our day. Why do we have to put down other's opinions !?!
Let's just all agree to disagree and go about our day! No need to bash each other because someone has a different opinion than you. They just happen to view it from a different perspective is all.
Being honest here, I didn't get the feels and tears etc that everyone seems to have gotten over her emotional…
I just want to add, everything I write or say is coming from someone who has no previous source material. So I am going from watching the drama alone and a few tidbits I read on these comments (personally trying to stay away from to many novel spoilers, as we all know most dramas tend to deviate from the source material at some point). So please don't take offense to anything I write if you know more than I do as in spoilers etc.
I am basically a newborn babe watching this drama and seeing from fresh eyes. Giving my thoughts in terms of what I see that has been portrayed on the drama alone. :)
Edit: Oh and I am actually enjoying the drama it is definitely interesting and I like these types of dramas.
In addition to what has been already said, she is afraid that if she continues to pursue him and her family disowns…
Thank you for this explanation. I can see it from this point. I wish though she had had more trust in him 10 years ago. I think he would have stood by her and as well as his family they were already real supportive of them. It sucks that 10 years had to go by for them to "grow up" and really understand one another.
That’s the whole point though. You think she’s overly dramatic because you know his side of the story. As…
I can see it and I probably would have felt more emotionally invested if they hadn't of told us or shown us his side. I just couldn't feel for her, because I knew his side. That might be a bad part on the production team itself, not so much her acting. When you get both parts it is hard to be subjective or rather have that emotional pull toward one way or the other, at least that is how I see it. :)
Being honest here, I didn't get the feels and tears etc that everyone seems to have gotten over her emotional speech in Ep. 10.
My takeaway, maybe because of what he has said and what we as the viewer know, is that she is being overly dramatic. She has no clue what he went through when she basically left him 10 years ago. He wrote to her, he cried, and he got up to make himself better, so that one day he could stand proud in front of her. She is acting like she has done all this work and he has done nothing. He is probably still heartbroken and expecting her to leave him again. He doesn't want to go through all that again right now. He does still care about her. He carried that lighter for 10 years.
I don't know if it is WCR's acting or the character she is playing, but I am just kind of really aggravated with her. I mean there are moments I like her, especially when she is in her doctor role, she does so well with that, but when she is being wishy washy emotional, drunk, acting like a infatuated 10 yr old girl etc, I don't like her at all.
I will say if she is really depressed and has emotional problems and stress, she really doesn't need to be trying to get back in a relationship with him. She needs help and therapy so that she could be healthy mentally and they can start a new better relationship.
Oh and her adoptive brother looks creepy and vindictive especially standing next to that car staring at Song Yan.
ep 10 ending was strange. She just straight up guilt tripped him.
I am glad you said it, because I felt the same thing. I am not getting all the emotional tears everyone else was feeling with that scene. If anything it just pissed me off more where she is concerned.
