me too!!! I like that they are experiencing love and tragedy etc. but man I am ready for them to go back to the heavenly realm and get on with their next life.

I agree, I liked the drama, but I hated the ending, I try to forget the last few minutes of it or I will stop the drama right before that scene happens.

I assume this lifetime they are living now will be their longest lifetime they will show in the drama? Mainly because we are at episode 9 and there are only 38 episodes. It will be interesting how they do the other lives or how things go, whether they veer close to the novel for the other lives or continue to stray away as others have said (haven't read the novel myself). Anyway, I can't wait, I am enjoying this so much. I haven't been so excited about a new drama in awhile.

I absolutely wanted to keep watching for Dylan, but I am not a huge fan of body switching (granted that wasn't in there for long, but...) and Esther's voice and acting. I really really gave it a try and maybe one day I will go back and try and watch. I think the only drama I watched from beginning to end with her was Moonlight with Ryan Ding. I don't know how I was able to get through that one, maybe Ryan Ding is more powerful, lol.

I agree, I can't even with the sad endings. I am okay with the open endings or bittersweet ending if you will, but I much prefer a happy ending. I think that is why I haven't been able to watch TTEOTM yet and I absolutely love Bai Lu in costume. There a few political/costume dramas that I really enjoyed as well, but I can't watch them again (I love rewatching dramas a lot) because I know they end with a sad ending. But lately it seems all xianxia have been ending with a sad/bad ending or open ending (ex. The Starry Love), which is aggravating. I also haven't started LYF, because I am unsure how it is suppose to end and I really don't want to start if S2 isn't going to start showing right after S1. I think I would get aggravated to wait awhile.

I have watched a few of YCY's dramas, my favorite being Dance of the Phoenix with Xu Kai Cheng. Actually, that is where I first watched her and started to like her. But I can understand how people feel about YCY's voice and acting, it is how I feel about Esther Yu, I don't like her voice and I think her acting is one dimensional. And I have watched and tried to watch her in several different things. Although her upcoming film looks amazing and I am excited to see her in My Journey to You, it looks more of a serious role for her and she looks more mature in it.

I start a drama for the actors in it, then if the story and chemistry are good enough I will continue it. But there have been dramas that even though I absolutely love the Main Lead (male or female) I will drop it if I don't like it no matter what. I just can't subject myself to that kind of time waste. lol.

I am glad iQiyi is not showing the previews, because if they did I would definitely be watching them. I always regret watching previews because I like to see what happens as the story goes, but at the same time if the previews are there I will watch them.

I could definitely see either one of those. I can't wait to find out.

I would just watch for the male lead, lol. I want to see him in so many things. His acting is really good, but he is also really good to look at.

episodes 7 and 8 her voice is a lot better, more serious. I think when she is up in Heaven she is a fairy so her voice seems annoying and whiny and childlike, while when she goes through her lives it is a bit different and more mature at points

agree, usually when I see a lot of negative or hugely negative when it isn't deserving, I will look at the person's profile to see how long they have been a member and then disregard their comment if it hasn't been that long.

I haven't seen anyone hating on the drama. The only somewhat negative, is not everyone is sure about the FL atm.

that is what I kind of think too, it is just her persistence with wanting CK is a bit annoying, but hopefully the stone will play a bigger part later on and will make these scenes seem needed, atm I don't feel that.

Currently watching end of episode 7 and beginning of episode 8. These scenes between CK and XY are so heartbreaking now that she has started to develop feelings for him. I feel so sad watching them. Not sure how I am going to make it through the other lives.

Also, anyone else not stand that princess (2nd FL?) ? Do her scenes even need to exist? I don't get her relevance to this story, she is annoying and the story would be just fine without her.

That 3rd Prince (backstabbing friend of CK from heavenly realm), he is doing a great job acting, because every time his character is on screen I cringe, his infatuation with XY is over the top.

I get it. There are a couple of actresses' voices who make me cringe as well and I can't get past it to enjoy the drama, which sucks. For some reason YCY is not one of them. I have always enjoyed watching her. Maybe you could watch her scenes at 2x speed to help.

From most of the comments I have read he dubbed his own voice. I do think they used some kind of voice modulator with some scenes, but is mostly his voice.
