I took 2 weeks off, so I could binge watch the next couple of episodes and to watch Mysterious Lotus Casebook. Finished MLS and now can’t get back into this drama. I was loving it before my break but just not keeping me captivated now. 😞 Trying to get back into it…
I normally skip watching the intro and outros since they have lots of spoilers in them, but I accidentally saw…
Did anybody else see the part where it looks like the princess is sitting on the throne?!? Excited to see what happens! No spoilers about what happens or how it happens please.
I loved this drama. It is definitely a drama that you need to pay attention too and not be doing something else at the same time. I can tell why some people found it complicated and confusing at times, but that wasn’t the case for me. It was a little bit predictable at times but not overly so like in many dramas. Having a basic understanding of poker can be helpful. Loved seeing Kang Ha Neul in this type of gritty drama and look forward to his ever evolving acting career.
I found this drama to be predictable and unremarkable to say the least. It might be interesting and entertaining to newer cdrama viewers though. I’ve seen quite a few cdramas though, and this was just okay and nothing special. This was a drama that was easy to keep on in the background as some fluff and not something that you needed to pay special attention too. It wasn’t a complicated drama and was easy to follow which might be what some people are looking for or are interested in. Several of the actors are really good actors though and have been in some really well-written and directed dramas, but imo this script just didn’t have that something special to it. I did really love Wang Yi Ting’s performance in this drama. She did an excellent job portraying Lin Lang. I noticed her in Rebirth for You and will definitely keep an eye out for her in future dramas.
Rewatching this and I just love Park Bo Gum’s drunk scene in episode 2. His acting in that scene really makes me think he was drunk. Cute and endearing in that scene too.
I wish they would have gotten into more detail about how ren anle became a pirate, her adventures as a pirate, and used more of her pirate comrades/subordinates in the drama instead of just the 2 female characters.
I love it when plays a good guy, but I also love it when he plays complex gray characters too. Excellent job in Lost You Forever. He really does pick such interesting roles and dramas.
I am absolutely loving this drama. I binge watched 5 episodes yesterday and would have watched more if I didn’t need to sleep. Loving the performances by Kang Ha Neul and Kang Young Seok. I’ve been a fan of Kang Ha Neul for awhile and am loving seeing him in this darker and grittier drama and role. I hadn’t really noticed Kang Young Seok before until this drama, and I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more of his performances now.
