i thought this was an interesting view of the ending since many people are unhappy/upset with the ending.

jun jiu ling, fake princess, court lady, maiden holmes, and royal rumours all have happy endings.

i didn’t even recognize him as the same actor from hwayugi to king maker. nice job in both dramas.

i really like this drama and rewatch parts of it on occasion. the female character annoyed me at first, but oddly enough after rewatching it several times, she’s actually grown on me now. lol . the chemistry between the three main characters is fun, but i wish they would have left out the romance though. it felt like the romance was just placed in there as an afterthought, and it didn’t add anything to the drama and felt like it took away from it a bit. i do wish that they had developed leon zhang/qiao chu sheng’s character and storyline a bit more. overall, it’s an enjoyable detective cdrama. the cases are interesting with some twists albeit predictable at times. hu yi tian and leon zhang are great in this drama.

personally, i think some of his earlier roles between the character and scripts were better than his more recent works. loved him in lie to me, i need romance 3, and hyde jekyll me. he was sweet, sexy, and adorable in i need romance 3. he did such a good job creeping me out in hyde, jekyll, me that i couldn’t watch him in dramas for a year. lol talented and good looking. hoping to seeing him continue to branch out in some better roles and scripts.

nice seeing him as the actual main lead in pledge of allegiance. loved seeing him in that, my roommate is a detective, and checkmate. talented and good looking. his smile could literally make me weak in my knees. hope to continue seeing him in main roles.

since watching leon zhang in my roommate is a detective, i kept on expecting him to be able to fight in this drama. lol loved him in both dramas.

she’s such a popular and talented actress that i expected way more in the description area here. lol it’s severely lacking compared to many other actors listed on mdl.

does anybody know if it’s going to be released on viki on may 10, or going to be delayed release? i checked on viki but didn’t see the “how many days until episodes” released thing.

i feel like you can tell the difference in comments from people who’ve watched and just need some clarification about things and those people who haven’t paid attention at all especially in the viki discussion area. lol

just in general for this drama all together…. since they had a season 2 for this and an extra amount of episodes available, i wish they would have developed some of the other characters’ side stories more like yu mo, zhi xi, lu ming, etc. i miss cdramas like legend of fuyao and eternal love/TMOPB that had fully developed side stories for some of the other characters and not just the main characters.

he’s a talented actor. i’d like to see him in some grittier roles and/or dramas or maybe another costume/period wuxia or xianxia drama.

i originally started watching season 1 while it was airing. i rewatched the last couple of episodes of season 1 right before starting season 2 as a refresher. i normally like this genre and thought it was interesting and good for a first watch. probably not something i would rewatch over and over again though. nice to see some actors branching out into different types of roles.

just in general about cdramas… personally even if we would have to wait a couple of months or years for some dramas, i would rather have a season 2 instead of having chopped up editing and things being rushed, not fully developed, or feeling incomplete in some dramas.
