He's having it hard it seems still now. Yeah none of his dramas are dropping. It seems Raba and Xiao Zhan are two people who got the most hatred thrown at them but also have tremendous star power. But actresses have it less so Xiao Zhan's fandom is still boundless.

They have an insurmountable star power! It's great to see but Raba tops it when her drama airs and other actresses also top the charts when their dramas air. But I'm glad to see both XZ and Raba topping charts, honestly but what I pointed was the factors which are counted sometimes don't do justice.

I get it. I really like Xiao Zhan but yes, I've questioned this many many times. The top charts don't do justice to actors because it takes into account so many other factors than their performances in dramas. They take into account baidu searches and whatnot which is never a criteria for acting performance. Neutrally speaking, actors whose dramas are airing should be in the list along with those who left a groundbreaking performance.
I really don't think The Long Ballad is a flop considering it's been a matter of discussion since it first started…

The Douban rating is 6.3, which is below ELOD (6.7) which is really not fair considering Dilraba is doing so well…
It's because Xu Kai has some insanely toxic fans. Dilraba or Wu Lei neither has such fans. Their fans are respectful and easygoing and supportive as far as I've seen.
