If it were Changge looking for Leyan instead of Hao Du or Shuyu, she would've found her way faster tbh. And not to mention, they left her unguarded in the first place like fools.
Is Great Khan the real father of Sun ? I mean he seems to favor Sher sometimes. I don't really understand. Or…
No, Sun is Khan's adobted son. Sher is Khan's nephew, the previous Khan's son. Khan pushes Sher forward using Sun's glory. He is a hypocrite. One moment he scolds Sher for losing to Sun, another moment he misses Sun xD

Not really, it took even more time to look for her in the manhua. The pacing is well kept. This isn't extending the show in anyway, rather they cut short the later details and pieced them together to enhance the pacing in the drama.
When Sun won the duel and dragged Changge to take her away, she pauses for a moment, looks him in the eye, doesn't…
Its this case, she protects her but doesn't let him or anyone know but he protects her, everyone knows. Its not that he shows off but he doesn't bother hiding it unnecessarily. But both know that they are protecting each other sooner or later. I think its a hard competition between them about protecting each other xD
An insight about Changge I just felt like sharing while rewatching 23:
When Sun won the duel and dragged Changge to take her away, she pauses for a moment, looks him in the eye, doesn't explain anything, just runs back to Khan to announce she wants to stay. Nothing about her actions but only this previously bothered me as to why she didn't just explain it to him so he could understand. 1. If she told Sun and ran back, he wouldn't feel as much hurt. But she wanted him to be hurt so that he would just leave her alone and never come back to save her. (Not knowing, ofc, that he would, no matter what, save her.) 2. She wanted the Khan to think that she is in no way fond of Sun or in any way associated to him, so that when she saves Luo Yi and gets caught, Sun would not be punished for it. She declared her willingness to serve under Sher so that Khan thinks, she is his loyal slave and his direction of suspicion would not be directed at Sun but Sher.
I mean, she was already dressed up in that gorgeous blue dress and obeyed Sher to protect Sun. He blackmailed her to obey him or else he would tell on Sun's deception to Khan.
We only visually saw Changge save Sun three times but saw Sun saving her more. But behind the screens, Changge calculated everything to save Sun and keep him out of all dangers. Ah I feel their portrayal of love for each other has just become even more precious to me.
Changge's Knight 3 giving the attendance here: You have no right to be pissed at her for saving an old man who's…
Also I think, Khatun not only wanted to sacrifice Alir to cause grief for Sun, she also wanted to cause a wedge between Sun and Changge knowing Sun loves her and get rid of her as well in the process, killing three birds with one stone.

There was no one to help though, so ofc she has to do everything on her. I mean it'd turn out better if she did it on her own but that Yicheng bitch already had traps set up so she used Changge's good intention to cause grief for Sun. And Sher was the one to give wood to fire by taking Alir hostage.
I was expecting to hit 10+ billion by now. I did not read the manhua but dilraba and trailer were reason for me…
The cast has all veteran actors and the 5 main characters including another support character Richard Wang are already actors who play lead roles themselves!
Yeah you pointed out a very amazing aspect of the drama. The open mindedness and flexibility of the male characters…
Exactly. The fact that Changge inspired Gongsun Heng to inspire his daughter to learn martial arts and Sun to let his tribe girls do archery was really what our modernized concept of feminism promotes but fails to do so in so many societies.
But A'Sun's background will be shown but differently, I think since its been hinted so many times already that he's from the Central Plains
