Now that the Chinese netizens know how great it's doing overseas, they will certainly be under pressure...I really…
I'm kinda happy about this fact you know, because the Chinese eccentric nitpickers who went on and on about throwing dirt in it will be in absolute awe and realize their opinions are so outdated and irrelevant in global perspective!
the long ballad is doing pretty incredible in overseas and i hope it does well in china too . amazing drama deserves…
Now that the Chinese netizens know how great it's doing overseas, they will certainly be under pressure...I really wanna see their faces xD It's a drama to be appreciated by non biased critics and a very different chinese drama setting from all that has been produced. So it's no wonder it's doing well overseas. It's also doing well in China, but doing even better overseas. The Long Ballad is an award-won manhua, so it'll be popular in Japan and South Korea, no doubt. I'm glad it's doing great in so many other places. Hope Netflix picks it up after it's completely aired.
Phenomenal acting. I am still wondering why he isn't in the top actors list yet.
Haven't watched WOH, but I can bet Leo surpasses him in acting in TLB. BUT HE MADE IT! ! He's at top 3 in best actors list this week and Dilraba's 2 <33
The Long Ballad No 1 in Top 10 web dramas. Dilraba No 2 and Leo Wu No 3 in Top 10 best actors of the week. I can't be any happier! Wu Lei finally made it to the deserved spot :' D I'd love it more if Dilraba stayed No 1 though but Li Yi Feng is a veteran top star, so can't help it I guess -_- But anyways I'm happy and proud of my two gems :")
I really do think that this is Dilraba’s best drama to date. Drama isn’t even done yet and I’m thinking…
The most aweseome part is, even netizens are praising her acting here. The fact that she's not "just an exquisite beauty" but also with immense acting abilities are acknowledged by everyone. And many non fans have become her fans. So this is her ground breaking role. This is not just the best role of hers but also the most special one. And a one that she herself treasures and happy to play the most.
Good news !!!! https://www.instagram.com/p/COHQnYfsdfN/?igshid=1n1hmptv2m62m .. A couple of days ago I read TBL…
I am sooooo glad and proud for the cast and crew of The Long Ballad. I knew it! I was wondering where all the lovers of the drama lives. Turns out "Overseas"! Indeed. We are the proof ourselves xD Hope Netflix buys this drama after it airs. It'll be more popular <3 Seeing the bts, music documentary and the drama settings and their interviews, the director and the production team made the best use of their budget to create this masterpiece.
Her character growth is clearer to see. It was a simple one. Changge's was a complex one. Deeper down the road.…
Actually Leyan has undergone simpler things compared to Changge, so her growth from simple understanding is so visible. Changge has gone through hell, one tragedy after another. She has all the emotions bottled up inside with nowhere to release but just nightmares. Her character growth is not to be underestimated by comparing to Leyan's. I feel insanely bad once I think of what Changge has gone through and she's finally free of those nightmares choosing her path. She just had the whole world at odds with her. So I'm glad she has Ashina Sun here to give her the whole world in her favor. But saddest thing was, she couldn't even ask for it from him thinking it would further endanger him. She had the worst psychological stress which can drive normal people crazy. Also the saddest and most unfortunate thing is she risks her life to save everyone, but goes misunderstood, like she saved people of Shuo, she goes to enemy camp as a prisoner just for her people but they think she's a betrayer, she saves Sun and Eagle division by dressing herself as one from Wolf division and also makes sure Sun isn't involved in any way but audience always tend to think from only Sun's perspective and find her selfish. She's literally giving her life to protect her people and Sun at the same time and burning herself out all the time!
I like Leyan’s character, she’s very kind and you can see a clear character growth
Her character growth is clearer to see. It was a simple one. Changge's was a complex one. Deeper down the road. Both of them deserve happiness in the end. Specially Changge literally lost every one but gained Ashina Sun in the process :')
good lord, when did she betray him sis? are we talking about ep 24-25 again?
They are also always having each other's back in the drama, Changge does it behind the scene giving him the cold shoulders so that she can push him away and not hurt him in her schemes but he being the Tegin and powerful one does it openly and publicly, because he has nothing to lose but her. But she has him and also everyone else who she's trying to protect to lose. And that scene is yeah , one of my favorites in the manhua! <333
How did she betray Sun tho?Changge has always been straightforward with Ashile. He knew exactly what she was up…
You can compare but keeping the changes and adaptation in mind, that way, you won't get frustrated. Treat them as separates, even better. If you consider both of their perspectives and justifications, you'll probably be not frustrated. But I get you haha. But the drama being different is kind of thrilling and exciting to me, if they just copy pasted the manhua, I'd feel like I know all the things so I wouldn't be as excited!

Oh and one more thing about her schemes hurting him to bring her tears- this happens way nearer to the end. Not when she was in Ashina Sun's camp but after they separate on good terms. This will also be shown in the drama as much as I can predict. There is Changge crying her heart out scene in the ending theme, I believe that's the scene.

Her promise in the manhua and in the drama are different. In the drama, her promise was she works for him on the condition that he doesn't harm Tang. Whereas in the manhua, she worked and gained his complete trust and then he promise not to harm the Han. She had to be calculating until he did so in the manhua.
