Nope she always has been very reserved. Also there were incidents of Luhan's fans bashing her, so maintained a distance from every male costar. She's a celebrity with a stunningly clean image with no scandals or anything, just fanmade ships. She is close with Vengo, Bin Bin but that's because they are from the same studio and collaborated a lot. She's always fun in the bts laughing and all but none of her co-stars actually matched her energy level I think except Wu Lei. Wu Lei and Raba has the same sort of fun loving personality with huge energy to spare and Wu Lei seems to give the proper response to her actions unlike Vengo who's tedious and quiet. Also, she's kinda low key offended for all his male co-stars telling her she's heavy, specially Vengo, a Huge guy found her back breaking heavy( really absurd, I'd like to assume he needs to work out). Wu Lei actually was the only one to tell her that she was fine and not heavy at all , whether he was being considerate or well mannered, it really made her feel good. They have a good tacit understanding. So she has let her guard down around him and treats him with no restraint.

Yeah, in the manhua, there was similar incident, during Uyghur vs Turk battle, Ashina Sun surrendered to Uyghur King to save his division and agreed to give his head to them, his body was hanged in front of the Uyghur camp by Changge's uncle, but it was a fake one, he wanted Sun to serve under him so he spared him, just arrested him. But Changge saw the body not knowing it was fake and fainted with grief. Afterwards knowing he's alive she cried buckets!
Its never an idol drama. Do you even know what an idol drama is? The themes and everything and the veteran cast along with the big budget production is not for just an idol drama. None of the actors are idol actors. They are actors since their debut except Li Yuning and Sa Ding Ding . Dilraba, Wu Lei, Lusi and all the other cast are actors since their debut. And its a manhua-adapted drama with historical elements supporting their character journey. The tragic events, wars, life realizations are all serious themes which are never traits of an idol drama.
Sorry, but I never see a repeated conversation in the whole series! Only when something intense or life-changing occurs, a conversation can be repeated over and over again to give emphasis, that's pretty realistic. Specially when that's the vital topic of the series.
