There was a minute of them, they weren't really her thing like in the original. A pity, because it was part of her charm as Xu Xu.

It went downhill the last few episodes, it stopped making any sense and wasn't even entertaining anymore.

Taiwan is an independent country with no censorship but the people there are actually Chinese and it was part of China until a few decades ago. So, same language and history but without all the restrictions - the perfect choice.

There is a saying in my language: The hat burns on the thiefs head... China is considered to be one of the most corrupt countries so obviously it's a sore spot.

It is that bad. Frankly I prefer no subbed at all because bad subtitles give you false hope when it's unwatchable. It wasn't just the bad English, it's the typos and the glued together words. I could make out what they are saying if I really tried, but the effort takes away all the joy of watching.

If it's the official subtitles done by the company and they do a poor job, why shouldn't we downgrade for bad subbing? People are paying to watch a drama that they can't even understand or enjoy because of bad translation...

I think most people are giving lower ratings because of the terrible subtitles. If they fix it, the ratings will probably go up.

I'm waiting and hoping they are better than the mess they have now 🙏
