Cheng Lei as the ML from The Legend of Female General (coming soon). Yeah he has long straight hair. That's why i said that before.
Many chinese period costume dramas also have this kind of long straight hair with flowing robes and great beautiful hanfu. I really love that silky long hair in chinese dramas π
But they also have some nice curly hair in period costume dramas. For example Deng Wei from Love of The Divine Tree has nice long curly hair (only in the middle until bottom). Xu Qi'an from Guardian of The Dafeng also has nice wavy ponytail. Short dramas like Money is Coming also come with good curly long hair for some characters.
But Vengo Gao? It's a completely different style like a messed curly hair.
is anyone else struggling to watch this on Netflix? The cinematography is not very clear. The subtitles display…
Sorry you said something wrong. Do you mean the resolution is not clear? It's not about cinematography. You said the wrong term.
Cinematography of this drama is very fine. No problem with that. Sorry but i need to correct this. Cinematography is how the cinematographer visualized the scripts into right scenes. It's all about camera works, camera angles, how the cinematographer directed the camera to shoot the scenes and make it beautiful. They also need to make sure the camera captured the meaning of the scripts so all the scenes will be delivered to the audiences.
Oh nooo. Why that fake dessert CGI again π₯² why they didn't shoot the dessert scenes in real dessert like some chinese dramas? Goodbye My Princess (earlier episodes) and Love in the Dessert use real dessert as their shooting locations.
They also used this fake dessert CGI for Everlasting Longing in ep 2 for around 20-30 mins. Fortunately, Everlasting Longing only had 1 ep in that fake dessert. The rest of Everlasting Longing scenes mostly took place in real forest, real palace, and real residences. But Love & Sword used fake dessert as one of the main locations. It's really distracting me π
is it just me who notice this in this past few month's happen to have many 8 rating series specially Chinese historical
Because Chinese Period Costume Dramas (Historical, Xianxia, Wuxia, Fantasy, etc) indeed deserve 8.0+++ rating. Love Like The Galaxy, The Untamed, Hidden Love (modern), Nirvana in Fire even got 9.0-9.1 rating.
The current airing dramas like Love of The Divine Tree got 8.6 rating, The First Frost (modern) got 8.8 rating.
They uploaded the re-edited version already. It was an error. And they fixed it right away.
I think it was pure of staff/human error when they combined the clips in editing room. They clicked the raw files instead of the edited files. I just saw the error in ep 9 and 10 only. They were so rush to air this drama though. And it was only for a few seconds.
Southeast Asia (SEA) is very different with East Asia. The culture, geography, race of local people, group of languages, and regions are all different between the two.
East Asia region is China, Japan, South Korea, North Korea, Taiwan, and Mongolia.
SEA region is Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Laos, Myanmar, Kamboja, Brunei, etc

But You Are My Glory, Dilraba use her own voice. Yang Yang also use his own voice there.

Most likely, The Glory will be aired after Si Jin in mid/late march
