Kudos for scriptwriter! finally a writer who can write a good story.
Excuse me, many chinese dramas are great and their writers also can write the scripts well. Please don't drag others down just to make your faves stand out.
Actually, I still prefer Chinese costume dramas because it's their best specialty. China is still the best in costume, historical, martial arts, and fantasy genre.
Subjective matters 😊 I still prefer Fated Hearts, Legend of The Female General, and The Prisoner of Beauty…
Zhou Ye did great fighting scenes in LOTFG. Zhou Ye moves in LOTFG were even better than FL moves in fight for love. Zhou Ye fighting scenes are faster, elegant, and deadly.
The war scenes remind me of old historical korean dramas especially jumong, conqueror and dae jo young. Nolstagia…
Excuse me, have you seen many Chinese costume dramas? The war scenes from many Chinese costume dramas are always very grand and high quality. Chinese dramas are very excellent in costume and war dramas from a long time ago.
Besides Fight for Love, there are so many Chinese dramas with grand and epic war scenes. For example, Qin Dynasty Epic, Legend of The Female General, The Prisoner of Beauty, A Journey to Love, Destined, Love Like The Galaxy, The Long Ballad, Wonderland of Love, Who Rules The World, Shadow Love, Fated Hearts, etc many more.
I watched both Korean and Chinese historical dramas, and I can say that Korean still can't reach the same high quality and grand vibes of Chinese dramas war scenes! Even in martial arts and military strategy + war weapons + war filming technique, Chinese is still the best in the field.
Chinese is the golden standard for costume genres, including war scenes. From Three Kingdoms era dramas, Qin Dynasty era dramas, Tang Dynasty era dramas, Song Dynasty era dramas, and etc, Chinese dramas always have high quality and excellent war scenes.
I actually stopped watching his dramas after learning that he avoids romance or any skinship scenes. Honestly,…
Ren Jia Lun did real kissing scenes in some of his dramas! For example The Blue Whispers (so many kisses) with Dilraba, Forever & Ever with Bai Lu, The Glory of Tang Dynasty with Jing Tian, etc.

No body ask your opinion for what to do and romance is not about damn kiss scene , did you even know about romance…

up to episode 22 no angst so far, and their separation actually lasted only 1 or 2 eps, 22 and 23 is very nice…
Have you seen ep 24-26? There is something big going on and it hinted for longer angst! That's why the OP said they want to wait until ep 30. We didn't talk about their separation after village arc.
Don't claim something BS like "people with real taste gathered here". BULLSHIT. Many people dislike Feud. Do you know it? There are so many negative reviews about Feud. And you said it's a great watch? Lol
Are you drunk? LOTFG is VERY GREAT in all aspects. The stories, the fighting scenes, the chemistry, the production designs, the costumes & sets, acting & performances, etc are all very great and satisfying.
LOTFG had strong plots with badass ML and FL! Flat characters? Nope! The characters in LOTFG is rich and likeable.
Subjective matters 😊 I still prefer Fated Hearts, Legend of The Female General, and The Prisoner of Beauty…
Legend of The Female General is very great. Their fighting scenes are amazing. Fast, deadly, and elegant. The battle scenes were executed so well, bloody, cruel, and engaging.
Personally, I found fighting scenes in LOTFG are far better than what I saw in Fighting for Love from its first episodes.
Have you watched enough Cdramas? You know this cultural practice is not new right?
Marrying corpse is NOT a COMMON cultural practice in China. There are some rare cases like this, but this is not something common in Chinese culture.
Chinese people still want to marry living people in their life. And many Chinese dramas always show living people marriage with red outfits and its cultures.
There was one in Lost You Forever, but Xiao Yao still marry Tushan Jing again in full rites after she found out that TSJ is still alive.
I am not sure you still love Cangcang if her character was played by another actress.
Modern chinese dramas like Love's Ambition, Hidden Love, The First Frost, etc don't have those kind of things and they are still really good.

From filming site spoilers. There are BUNCH of kissing scenes between ep 31-40. The main leads kissed a lot on the sets.
I can understand if you talk about mango, but the other 3 platforms like Tencent/WeTV, iQiyi, and Youku subtitles are already very good.
