I think both FL and ML costumes are gorgeous. Many other Chinese costume dramas also have gorgeous and great costumes for all actors and actresses. Both main roles and supporting roles.

Another one, Hengdian also has many different settings for different eras. Not only Qin and Han dynasties settings. They also have imperial palaces and ancient cities for Tang Dynasty, Song Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty, and etc.

I am sorry but this drama didn't have CGI or VFX. They filmed this drama in real location like other Chinese historical costume dramas. Most of them were shot in Hengdian and Duyun Qin Han Palace City.

Kalau kamu orang indo, saya akan memakai bahasa indonesia. Jadi LLTG gak pakai CGI atau VFX ya. Mereka syuting di lokasi asli di Hengdian dan Istana Qin-Han di daerah Duyun. Drama2 kolosal lain yg non-fantasy juga syuting di lokasi asli, kebanyakan di Hengdian. Soalnya Hengdian sudah komplit sekali dari setting istana dan kota Dinasti Qin, Dinasti Han, Dinasti Tang, Dinasti Song, dan Dinasti Ming n Qing.

Lin Yun Rui's hair is very good in both LLTG and Blossom. He is very handsome.

No lol ofc MLs still act better than him. For example Love & Redemption, The Promise of Chang'an, Mysterious Lotus Casebook, Word of Honor, Story of Minglan, etc.

RJL did kissing scenes for real in The Blue Whisper with Dilraba. He also kissed Jing Tian back then in The Glory of Tang Dynasty. Bai Lu also kissed Him in Forever and Ever.

So RJL kissing scenes are not something new 🙄 why MDL need to explode about that? Many Chinese actors always do kissing scenes for real.

There are so many great battle and war scenes in Chinese costume dramas. This is not the only one. For example Qin Dynasty Epic (the war scenes in this drama are more massive than Fight for Love), Legend of The Female General (it's in the same level with Fight for Love), Destined, Love Like The Galaxy, Who Rules The World, Wonderland of Love, The Legend of Haolan, and etc many more.

Many other Chinese costume dramas have great romance and chemistry. When the main couple of dramas have chemistry, you will absolutely enjoy their romance and stories.

So, for Fight for Love, they chose wrong actress for FL character. It's not about age gap with ML. We already had big age gap dramas like The Double but Wang Xing Yue and Wu Jin Yan had sizzling chemistry there. Or hot chemistry between Liu Yu Ning and Liu Shi Shi in A Journey to Love. Basically, Victoria Song never had any chemistry with all her MLs. So Ding Yuxi kinda failed to connect with her. Chemistry is something that hard to explain. Because it sparks when there are connections between two people or more.

So, don't ever blame the romance. You will enjoy the romance in this drama if both of FL and ML have chemistry between each other. If they choose the "right actress" for FL, i am sure the romance will be so great and you will crave for them more and more.

AvenueX slaughtered Love & Crown so badly. Usually I often disagree with her, but for Love & Crown particularly, I can't help but laughing to her rants 🤣
