Tired of waiting and it really broke my heart.

Just bcs of one person mistake and she wanted to fight the government about her tax issue, this fine drama could be shelved forever.

However I just want to see LXY in this drama. It's a shame if this drama was cancelled bcs investors have given up the project.

Also, idk if the drama already started the reshooting or not. Because there is no reuters or bts about HYX and LYX drama reshoot.

Also, it's still hard to make this drama can be aired. Just look at The Golden Hairpin. They already changed the actor face but there is no airing schedule yet.

Oh I remember you. You are a die-hard fan of Liu Xue Yi who keep inserting "A Moment of Forever" to almost all c-dramas recommendation even though some (many) dramas are not related or have similarity to "A Moment of Forever" 🤣 You are really something.

OH about the news that i said, you can check it out from koala playground. It was said the investors cancelled the drama and the reshooting will not likely to happen.

No problem. I worked in accounting department so i can tell that this latest news is like a death sentence to LNF as a whole. Without investors money, there is no reshooting.

It really broke my heart when the investors announced that they want to write off the drama from their books.

Usually, the bosses only want to keep the debts and investments that can be collected in the future. After they feel that the particular debt or investment can't have the future then they need to write off its account to make them stop about affecting the result of whole financial reports. Significant loss is not good to see in financial statement. It affected the company's financial performance as a whole. Usually they need healthy/profitable financial reporting to bring more investors, share holders + to get the higher numbers loan from the banks.

Nope. They cancelled LNF completely. From what i heard, the investors have written off the investment from their books. "Write off" in accounting means they already accepted and categorized the loss and removed it from the current book/account. Usually that "write off" method is used for unpaid debt that 100% can't be collected in the future. So they need to admit the loss to remove it from their future financial reports.

The investors maybe thought they need more and MORE money to refilming with new actress (HYX), gathering the production team and crew, re-hire Liu Xue Yi that I am sure his pay has already increased high bcs of his popularity after "Blossom". Plus, they also need more money for AI technology that swap the face in the screen.

In this case, the investors thought about everything with logic in rational way. It broke my heart but I just understand their decisions towards this drama. You know, even though, they reshoot this drama with new actress and etc, there is no guarantee that it will be aired smoothly and FAST. Just look at "The Golden Hairpin". They used this AI method to replace Kris Wu face and until now, there is no news about airing date. Just rumour and rumour. People are tired of waiting also. Plus the AI result will not be as natural as they shot the scene with real person as a whole.

The latest news really make me so angry. It pissed me off. One person mistake affected all actors actresses and production team as a whole.

I don't care if they wanna replace the lead actress or not. I just wanna see Liu Xue Yi in big IP xianxia drama as ML.

But now, it's just a dream. It will not see the light in this case. Even the investors already gave up the drama. Their money is gone. The whole production team's hardwork has fully wasted :((

Please don't give me any speech about defending the lead actress. The case is already in this state. And in fact, her tax scandal affected the WHOLE drama. No excuse. She lives and worked in China, she should already knew that tax issue is a death threat to anyone's career in c-ent.

Sang Yan is Sang Zhi's brother. This is the spin-off of Hidden love. This drama is like a different perspective from Sang Yan's Love Story.

I know his actions about taking his own life is so tragic. He already lost his wife in the past once and his feeling become deeper after the tragedy. Now, he is losing his wife again and he can't handle the feelings anymore. That's why in his last scene with her (under the tree), he seemed regret about what he said to her about taking responsibility. He just want her to keep alive with him and nothing else.

Yeah I noticed them too. Usually for low budget dramas/mini series, the costume team modified the recycled costumes with another style + mix n match. But I still can see the glimpse that those costumes were already used by another productions.

For big budget series, they have money so they can make another new costumes set for the characters, especially leading roles.

Ah about WOH, i think I saw the similar costume that Gong Jun wore in Legend of Anle. Is it recycled costumes? Or just similar style but it's still new? But LOA is a big budget drama according to Youku S+ costume drama.

LI Geng Xin is in different level. Top level actor. He was very popular back then. He got many popular dramas and movies as leading roles. He is very well established. One of his super popular drama was Princess Agents. That's why people were so happy about Zhao Li Ying and LGX 2nd collaboration as main leads in Legend of Shenli. LGX is not the type of idol actor but he already grabbed the reputation back then. He is in the same generation with Hu Ge and Wallace Huo.

Short dramas are usually for newcomers or young actors who want to work in the entertainment industry. You can also see several supporting roles in big budget or full lenght drama become main leads of these short dramas. It's a good chance for them to grab the reputation for better projects in the future. Actually this is also the good media for them to improve their acting skills. It's pretty hard to get leading roles in full lenght dramas. Tough competition between actresses and actors out there. Not to mention you need to compete with people who have power, connection, and money in the industry. Plus, you also need to compete with actors actresses who have traffic and fandoms all over the world.

Ryan Cheng is the good example how short dramas actors can get the proper full length drama. His turning point was "My Journey To You" as Gong Shang Jue. After doing so many short dramas, finally, he got recognized and he grabbed Gong Shang Jue role as second lead character in MJTY. Today, he already got main roles project in full length production with good budget (The Legendary Female General).

Wow thanks for the info. I am just wondering the same thing. Bcs there is sooo many period costume dramas production from China and they usually make the new costumes for those dramas. Especially the big budget series can't use recycled costume from another dramas. So, i am just wondering where these costumes go after the production is finished.

Actually i am curious about the ending. Their love interests are different for both FLs. How can they switch the body back? It will be two different pairing people in the end.

Actually her sacrifice is needed for the TREE. ML put the pressure on her from beginning about taking responsibility to revive the Linchuan clan and the tree. But the ML suicide is so unnecessary. At least one of them need to keep alive to take care of their daughter.

True. He was pretty skinny in One and Only. But after I watched him as Zhang Zhe in Story Of Kunning Palace, I was quite shock, his shape is different. It's more fresh and he becomes more handsome. He is different from before in a good way.
