We can't deny it though. The only similarity they have is face blindness + face changing every month. It's a fact. You can check the story of both dramas. I heard this drama even bought the copyrights of beauty inside just to prevent the upcoming/copyright issue even though they didn't full adapt the story from beauty inside. Bcs the storyline + historical setting are totally different if we compare both two dramas.

I could understand his curly hair IF his background is similar like Ashina Sun from The Long Ballad (Tribe Prince or something). Usually they described tribe people hair looked like that (wavy/curly/straight long hair but a bit curly, etc).
But for han chinese, usually it's a perfectly long straight black hair.

Tbh, I was really really shock yesterday. It's still totally okay if that person said that she/he didn't know Teresa Teng bcs she lived in India + she is not chinese/east asian. Speaking wise, like my first comment, yes we are both in Asia continent, but with different culture here and there (especially east vs middle vs west), it's understandable if they didn't know the popular singer who become part of its culture depends on which country that you lived in. Some wedding singers in my country (ASEAN) even still sing some of Teresa Teng's songs in most of chinese people wedding. So since i was a little, I grew up with those TT's songs.
