It was somewhat interesting to me up until ep 10/11, but as @DuLayna said, i felt like from there its gotten wayy better, I ended up spending most of my weekend binging it !

Haha yes! Had 3 presentations this week yet loved it so much every ounce of my free time this weekend went watching it ( also thankfully presentations went well). Exactly, the trio dynamic was so beautiful and natural, LiLun should thank ZYZ, he was the one who cracked the tough shell that was around poor ZYC. But really, absolutely beautiful drama, whenever I can, I just go watching the edits, bts and all🫶.

Seriously 2024 was quite poor when it comes to historical dramas, but this really saved it for me, I also love ensemble cast, when the friendship is almost as much as the romance, though I could totally go without romance as well, but they did it beautifully in this one. FOF is going straight to my top 3 list of favourite cdrama, right after Mysterious lotus casebook 💙

Well hello! I am back after spending the whole weekend binge-watching the show! OH WOW! I am so glad I let it finish before I watched it ! I absolutely love it, as some said, when it comes to historical dramas of 2024, things werent that good, but FOF definitely is my favourite one, followed by Dashing youth. I have so many things to say. Also, you know when you answered me first, I wanted to ask you, "would it be too much wishful thinking if Li Lun changed and joined them?", and YAY, it wasnt, though I wished for a better ending for him. I know that he was easily influenced, but I feel like ZYZ could've reasoned with him maybe just a bit instead of saying repeatedly "you dont understand ". But still, I am definitely the most impressed with ZYZ and ZYC, what beautiful characters they had . Really, wonderful drama!🤍🔥

I had to continue watching since when I saw your comment I was at ep 21 and I had no idea what you were talking about when you said Bingyi and Ying long, now, I am RIGHT THERE WITH YA!! I also want both those prequels, frankly this show is absolutely beautiful, I am at ep 27 and I just dont want it to end .

Ikr, I wish we had a drama of how they met, and how their friendship grew while protecting the Wilderness, we will also get to see more of the Original Baize Goddess that was killed by the plague, and all the demon characters we saw. I will totally watch that!

Thank you so much! Actually I normally skip a lot when I watch a drama, strangely this is the first one in years where I didn't have to do it at all! I really missed dramas like this, beautifully shot, teamwork, not much romance and extremely talented actors and mature characters! Hope we get more like these soon! I am now on ep 21 :)

I am at ep 18 right now, i had just started my semester so i wanted to wait for it to finish. I am absolutely loving it, I just wanted to say that I would have loved seeing more of the friendship "era" of ZYZ and Li Lun, their hairstyles, the colors, their clothes and them being so carefree is so so worth watching 💔💙
