Hello everyone, I actually had a question, I have been watching cdramas for a couple years now, and my favourite genre is definetly historical dramas. But lately I have noticed that most of the ones that are released are either short format, wuxia or xianxia, or rebirth dramas. Now, I do like the last 2 kinds, but the ones i enjoy the most are the ones where we have an emperor/king or powerful general ML, and a powerful FL, like General and I. Without any fantasy elements really. But there has been none, and i heard once on a Forum that there is a ban (?), please if someone has an idea?? Cause i was actually watching this drama, which I am really loving, and the scene with the young emperor and the young general in the beginning of ep 8 gave me that vibe that i miss (also love the actors they choose for it). Its high season right now there are lots of really good dramas airing. But I think Lonely Hearts Journey is topping…
Many good dramas are airing, except this one, is there any historical one that is airing now? I remember around this time last year we had plenty of historical ones, I dont understand why this time (this whole year actually) we didnt have that many historical cdramas. Its been a dry year (with a few exceptions of course).

Exactly, if you remember for example Story of Kunning palace wasn't even promoted until after it started releasing eps, so I hope this one wont be too late. I really like their differents looks in the mv.
On Tiktok there are some clips of the cast dancing, which definitely comes from like a television show, so it means they are promoting their drama, but can you promote a drama when there is not even a release date?

Thank you! Me too! I really enjoy a historical drama when the romance is a sub-plot or even barely there! DY, MLC and BOY are great examples, and they were enjoyable from start to ending, (although as of now DY is not done yet)
