Same!

Great read! Thanks for sharing your insight and the behind the scenes backdrop of this enthralling story.

I actually LOL when Duan Wu started to dance and had to readjust to the others pose and the face YZJ made after ZJR sited poetry during her dance. Subtle but good.

I believe if you’re looking for a true-to-life drama that is engaging and mesmerizing, touching on all the emotions, this drama is for you. If you’re looking for fluffy and cutesy where you want to be able to make a sandwich in the middle of a scene, then, no, this drama may not be for you.

Episode 1 is captivating. You’re pulled into the characters world, immediately. The pacing is perfect and the acting is spot on, no jarring overreacting or under reacting, which I appreciate when I want to become part of the story vs remaining a spectator of the story.

Same. The world wants to watch, I think we crashed their system.

Thanks for sharing this.

We are the most popular hang out I’m thinking.

She was so innocent and then went through hell to cover for the SML. It took some time, but the ML finally started realizing he was targeting the wrong person. I LOVE the actor, and his character arc was amazing to watch. I also enjoyed how they incorporated Wuthering Heights into the storyline.

Under MDL, it's Secret. Under Viki, it's Secret Love. I highly recommend.

ETL is my favorite trope. I enjoy the dramatic revenge/forgiveness arcs. Favorite dramas in this category are Secret Love (K drama). I do think Thai dramas have the most- Kleun Cheewit, Bad Romeo, although they start as Lovers, and My Forever Sunshine…just to name a few.

Continuing to bark, flail, and participate in the Labor of Sisyphus when TSOPG has...

Over 8K anticipated watchers on MDL
3.4 Million reservations on Youku without a release date
Prescreened praise for drama, the lead actors, and the characters they are portraying
A rating increase from S+ to an S++
Multiple investors added AFTER prescreening
A TRAILER trending on Youku (international) beside their No 1 currently airing drama

...is like attempting to empty the ocean with a teaspoon. The efforts are rather moot at this point.

Thanks for sharing this! I’m learning so much about the characters who are not just backdrops but who are woven into the tapestry of such a compelling story.

Yes! Love your analogy. 😄

I’m not sure. I believe something about shaky camera work, but the director doesn’t work the camera. The cinematography is another person but isn’t listed under credits.. I did some research and was satisfied by what I’d found. I posted it here but it was probably back in August or earlier. Personally, I’m not worried but I’m more focused on character than visual aspects. I know for others, visuals are huge.

I do think since these investors have prescreened, saw the potential, and then decided to pour a lot of money into promotion, we can positively assume they saw a great drama in all aspects. It’s been a while, but I did research into the director and the cinematographer’s work. Both have been praised for their cinematic artistry. As with everything that relates to entertainment, there will always be people who will have negative things to say once this airs. I will hope for the best until the very end 😊.

I think he’s going to be a very complicated and interesting character. On the surface, he may be but I’m looking forward to seeing how the drama unfolds and peels back the layers of his character.

I believe they have the Thai version of BOF on Viki. It's very cute and the leads have really good chemistry.

She keeps us so busy. I think I received 3 hours sleep last night from posting and liking all the new material from TSOPG. Then, I drove to work (30 minutes) and missed my exit, called my boss to tell her I was going to be late, where she then informed me it was my day off. There's never a dull moment being her fan.

I see how excited we are and just can’t imagine how excited the leads, cast, and crew must be to see their immeasurable efforts paying off with such great rewards. I am so grateful to be able to watch this on my tiny phone screen but REALLY hoping for this to come to Netflix so I can watch it on a much bigger screen.
