could have been 16 episodes it would have made me really happy but no worries its a good watch
Why 16 episodes. I don't actually get the logic. A show should be as long as it needs to be. Actually, a massive problem with K dramas is defining episode counts too rigidly and then forcing the writing within that timeframe. Just tell the story as it needs to be told. Breaking Bad would have been trash were it 16 episodes. Instead, it's a legendary all-time drama which many consider to be one of the best in history. Indeed, why should Band of Brothers be any longer than its 10-episode runtime?
[Dropped at 4 Eps]Actually, it's in my Not Interested list coz I didn't complete even 25%.I know it's too soon…
Oof. Strong Woman is an absolute mess, but Joy of Life just gets better and better and the whole mythology of WHY there are modern thoughts in "medieval" times is very satisfactorily presented.
I’m sorry but the only thing wrong with this drama is the female lead Han Jae Hee. The girl has poop for brains…
Yeh she was already an S grade nipple but episode 6 turned her into an irreversibly rekt face of features. But hey on the plus side I guess the only way is up for her character now?
Episode 6 probably the best so far, but it paints the FL in an even worse light... incredible amount of flaws written into her character. It' s like the writers are trying to manufacture a pure character assassination. It's working.
It may sound rude but yes I don’t like the FL she’s wrongly cast..hehehe
Someone should kick her upside the head. She seems to think it's OK to constantly use violence and force so she should get a taste of her own medicine.
It's fair to say at this point that many simply don't like the FL character, whether that's the writing, the characterisation, maybe for some the acting... I dunno. But many do not like her.
hey everyoneI have never seen even a second of baseball and am not familiar with the sport at all, will I be able…
I kinda enjoyed it but found the ML infuriatingly arrogant, condescending, and carrying God plot armour. It deals with his work as a general manager in preparing and improving a baseball team in the offseason, going through all sorts of trials with upper management, contracts, trades, team chemistry etc. The process is well written, well drawn out, if slightly trite for someone who already actually gets sport in general and specifically baseball.
In short, I can recommend it if you wanna see the processes of a failing team looking to improve under new management.
Omg this series is underrated, it was really good!! I think it deserves more than 7.8.
well doesn't nearly 8 out of 10 mean it's really good? Pretty sure that's what an 8 out of 10 means in most media and ratings. 8 out of ten is a very high score, which is more or less what it's at, at 7.8.
The FL is a pain but in a way which makes the show more fun, I reckon. I think the way the directing has encouraged her to play her part is a bit hammy, as with the rest of the cast. It's a stylistic decision but it doesn't always jive with me. Anyway, this is a pretty good show so far. Even teared up in ep 4 - ML starting to become increasingly human.
It's not the real score. Check the score by demographic graphs. I noticed this too with Alchemy of Souls. After 2 days it randomly dropped from 8.5ish to low 7s... like some bug in the algorithms or something, I dunno. Then a day or two later, it self-corrected again and jumped straight back up to where it was. This seems to be happening in the early stages of a drama airing after the first 1-2 days of votes.
hm there's a whole list of stuff they have plagiarized https://www.douyin.com/video/7110952473136844040https://www.douyin.com/video/7111221283815181604Clearly…
Come on guys. Korea have made themselves a star player of pop culture on a global scale precisely because they are masters of copying. Just listen to their music and soundtracks. China are also bad for adopting huge amounts of Western tradition in their music but I still hear lots of originality and traditional Chinese art in their dramas, but Korea? LOL. Yeh it's quite rare. So if Korea can be masters of wholesale adoption of Western musical technique and feel, albeit adapted for their own cultural physiognomy and vagaries, then you can be sure they'll be able to proudly exhibit many other obvious "non Korean" influences in many other aspects. So why are we suddenly crying now this isn't exactly a secret strategy.
OK, to each our own.
In short, I can recommend it if you wanna see the processes of a failing team looking to improve under new management.
