It probably took courage to play a romantic leads in a subject heavy drama when the actors/idols themselves were victims of physical and sexual abuse by their own CEO.

The webtoon is okay (not good, not bad) but it is still being translated. I might check out the first eps, then wait until the drama finishes airing to binge. It's barely 15mins runtime, so it will probably be a simplified version of the manga.

I dont really mind the fish-kiss in ULS because (a) they were a couple who had broken up on bad terms and JUST got back together (b) they were literally in the middle of the street. Idk about "west", but in Asia people WILL side-eye and be disgusted if u suddenly start making out with someone in middle of the street, no matter whether you are gay or not. Them fish-kissing, then seeming to forget themselves only to get interrupted by a ringtone, was actually the best writing in the context of that scene.

Compare it with the kisses in ODS, where the leads were alone (once on terrace, once in the garden) and they had finally realised that their love was MUTUAL. Or in New Employee, where they were alone and in the house, so even if things escalate, it's nobody's business but theirs.

I dont get the hate. Not the first time an idol has acted or even acted in bl. Hell, Zuho's teammate is one of the most promising actors of this generation. People just need something to complain about

I dont think he is all that innocent either. The comic he has been drawing since high school is about a mullet wearing superhero and his nerdy sidekick who looks disturbingly similar to CGY. Plus, CGY said to PYY dad/grandpa that "this comic refers to my high school life, and also my heart (while we see the other drawing PYY drew for him placed in his phone case). PYY was also the first to sleep in CGY's bedroom because he didn't wanna deal the voices (he could have slept in another room or gone to his friend's house). Hell, he could have used the door like a normal person as CGY dad said. He didn't specifically HAVE to climb in through the window of a guy he supposedly hates.
