Sweetheart, they are LITERALLY in a profession where their face is their biggest asset. They CHOSE a profession where they make money off of their faces. If they just liked to act and not be in a public eye, they would have kept acting as their hobby. I am not going to argue on something as stupid and fundamental, as that with some teenager (I AM X-YRS OLD!! just proves that you are mentally an insecure teen, no matter what ur biological age may be)

But that Bitcoin guy and Ohm are the only two people who kept talking about the "rivalry" since Dorm 2 and Dorm 3 guys have been mixing since ep1 (like Bright is Dorm 2 but he is great friends with Touch and Aye and Meen of Dorm 3 and Songkhram are good friends)... So maybe the Dorm 5 aka the villain dorm was the one that started the "rivalry" in the first place and they are only ones who care about it

Also, idk why U watch bls but I am not gonna lie and say I am on crusade to change the world by watching gay romcoms or something. I watch bls as an escapist fanstasy about two good looking men romancing each other and watching badly styled mullets isnt on my list.

I have seen and liked bls with uglier casts, lmao. Visuals are important but not as important as the plot, editing or the characters themselves.

The mullet guy looks much better in the promo posters so I guess he isnt just ugly, the stylist hates him with passion. Which brings me to my first point, is he related to the Big Boss? The other guy looks like a typical "fem/queen" guy who are common in non-Gmmtv thai bls.

They all say "seniors made rules" but I guess those faceless seniors were probably an ex-couple who hated each others guts so they just banned the interactions between their respective dorms. Okay, but is the "freshman" couple - Plug and Nano - related to the director. They aren't listed in the cast. Meen/Bright are credited as the 2nd couple but that couple definitely has way more scenes than them. Also their characters are annoying af, not helped by the loud and over-the-top acting, and their plot/scenes look like an after-thought that was forced into the narrative because the director/editor was threatened or bribed.

And sorry to be THAT girl, but they dont fit the visual asthetic (in Mean Girl words, they ugly), especially that mullet. It's not doing anybody any favours.

I have been feeling this way since I saw The Boyz Juyeon and Stray Kids Han or Hyunjin having 28-29" waists on Weekly Idol (remember they are about 6' tall so they should be atleast 36-38 to be "normal" BMI) everyone being HAPPY and excited and calling them sexy. Like, no! 28-30" waist on 6' guy isnt sexy, it's sickly. The guy is practically a walking skeleton so don't celebrate it.

We all talk about unhealthy body standards for ramp models and female idols (a conversation that NEEDS to be had) but please also talk about male idols.

I saw you fighting a lone battle in the comments and I couldn't stand it. I grieve for the guy but this isnt just the fans and his mental health that needs to be addressed. This is a system of glamourized child abuse and grooming that fans overlook because the songs are catchy and idols are pretty. The corporations keep making while these poor kids are just a canon fodder sacrificed to fill their pockets.

I know the fans will probably come at me, but personally I think he didn't commit suicide (keep in mind that it is a mere speculation by the police so far) but his heart just gave out. As Astro and Moonbin-Sanha, both promoting, he was probably overworked. Idols are forced into horrible diets during promo period, ESPECIALLY the dance line like Moonbin who are known/expected to wear revealing clothes on stage so they are under a constant pressure to be sexy. I mean, we are talking about a 25yr old adult male with 6-6'2 ht and 28-30" waist (my 14 YR OLD niece has a 30" waist).

Forced dieting, overwork, maybe excessive exercises to keep that PERFECT body, plus the constant stress of public scrutiny and his poor heart just gave out.

I don't think I am taking anything away from mental health discussions, but keep in mind that these idols aren't just mentally unhealthy, they are ALSO physically unhealthy. We need more regulations, not just to help their mental health but also their physical health.

As a survivor, "professional help" does jack shit if your other circumstances dont change. Not all people who attempt suicide are haunted by inner demons, some do it because they dont have any other way to escape their life circumstances. Especially if the "failed attempt" is seen as nothing but a coward's threat (You are such a failure that u even failed at killing yourself. Fun times)

For me, personally, changing my profession and cutting off the toxic people in my life helped more than any professional ever could.

Because these "stars" are dine a dozen. The rewards they reap are 500x what they pump into these kids to turn them into idols and and like u yourself pointed out, he will keep making them money even after his death. Just wait until they pop out a new "grief" song or start a "Goodbye Moonbin concert" or special edition
Moonbin merch and fans will be shitting themselves to throw money at, the company. Hell, it will probably be more money than he ever earned them alive.

Also, they dont want healthy, emotionally stable idols because they aren't easy to control. Which is why corporations are hiring yojnger and younger trainees, keeping them isolated from everyone including their own families and debuting them them younger and younger, so they are constantly in the public eye and the only people they can depend on physically, mentally, emotionally, financially are their agencies.

I agree that everyone has their struggles and pressures, esp in public eye, but reading and hearing constant hate does no wonders to an already fragile mind. It doesn't matter that haters didnt know the specificities of this guy's mental health, it's just basic courtesy to not constantly spew hate on others when u dont want it happening to you.
