FL kinda makes me think of OmegaX/Spire CEO. Like that clip that got her fired at the beginning was edited to show her face, but it was her voice and words. Her husband even says why would would you say things like that to give them an opportunity to film you. FL can do one good deed by YJW but as far as I'm concerned, she is an irreedamable trash.

U just don't get power harassment, do you? These women - the victims of HArvey Weinstein, or closer to kpop of Burning Sun or Roon 9 or whatever - they don't have a choice. They are just young kids (boys and girls) who want ot work in the entertainment industry, but are too powerless to fight against powerful people who want to take advantage of them. The girl in question was the younger sister of FL's employee, so unless her brother wanted to risk his own job, let alone the sister's dreams, he was powerless against the FL's orders. Which was to send the young girls to the club with those shady investors.
Idk why I thought it was a BL. I didn't see the cast list, just the name and the poster and thought it was some gay reality show like His Man or Cityboy. I was waiting for it to finish, so I could binge. FML.
I wasn't planing to watch this anyways because I'm not the target audience, and I usually take controversies with a grain of salt, because a plot can be interpreted in various ways (because of cultural or historical differences), but now I'm confused. From your review it seems there was no sensible reason for that plot. IDK if this is based on a novel/webtoon, but even the original source did end the same way, there was no reason to include that plot in the show. So they were specifically going for that controversy...

The only reason we are rooting for FL is BECAUSE she is FL and because Yoo Jinwoo is innocent in all this (as the dad, said) FL was an abusive CEO. I thought she had brought those investors AFTER the accident because she desperate for money for her son's treatments. But bringing them BEFORE... and sure she didn't know about that specific day, but those people wouldn't have been so bold on day 1, so she knew they were shady and red-flaggy and she turned a blind eye because $$$
