I don't know how good this is, but Love Scout is decent. Maybe Namib also deserves a top spot, but right now I…
Like I said in the other thread, most of Namib's initial bad ratings came from people assuming a may-december romance between the leads (there isn't, it's strictly mentor-mentee) and people who were upset about the lack of said romance. It's been more or less stuck at 7.8 for the past few weeks. The story is about healing and growth. ML is a softboi sweetheart who deserves all the good things in life, FL is a bitchy lady who makes a LOT of mistakes but she is meh-okay sometimes.
I know the fl is seeing a therapist observing from the other episode so why not have gotten him one if she knew…
because he isn't her son. he is her employee and, frankly, she really isn't a very good boss. how many of your employers would actually give a crap if you were depressed/suicidal. Some might, but those are extremely rare. Her son and husband care for YJW but they don't have any authority or say in his life.
Just skimmed tonight's ep because I will watch both eps tomorrow... but MYGOD! Shim Jinwoo HYUNG came through like the ultimate k-drama CEO. He really loves his brother.
That was my thread, sorry. That OP was talking about hinted puppy crush between FL's deaf son and one of his classmates,…
If you haven't started the drama yet, I suggest you wait until next week till it gets over. It's a very binge-worthy drama and I kinda regret not waiting. Or start after Wednesday (next ep airs on tomorrow), so u can catch up till next monday and watch the ending with everyone.
I am having difficulty with figuring out who allowed the trainees to go to the nightclub with the "investors",…
FL wasn't in US at the time. Both accidents happened on the same day, which means that when "investors" were making rounds in the agency, FL had no issues (since her son's accident hadn't happened yet), so it was just her being greedy and irresponsible.
Saw this drama getting hate in the comments of another drama's page. Does this one really have romance?
That was my thread, sorry. That OP was talking about hinted puppy crush between FL's deaf son and one of his classmates, who is also an idol trainee like the ML (from his previous agency). The girl is ML's childhood friend who may or may not have a crush on ML. It's all hinted and they are all teens/classmates. FL is basically a guardian/mother-figure to the ML.
This drama doesn't have any actual romance. FL is a married woman. Her husband is very much in the picture and he treats ML like his own son. FL is a bit complicated, for her ML is just an employee, but she also cares about him (like a teacher or a distant aunt).
Based on the novel, how bad is the Second Lead Syndrome?
What I meant was, since this is a love triangle (as I understand from the article above), how much are we shipping SML and the FL? "He has his own story" does it mean he moves on asap and has his own separate lover or is he going to be a lovestruck idiot who follows FL around trying "to win her". And how much do we root for him over the ML?
Spoil me please. Is the romance between Zhu Yan and Wen Xiao? Or Zhu Yan and Bai Ze who died? Or are Wen Xiao and Bai Ze goddess the same person/soul? Also, "friends to enemies" tag is scaring me, how concerned should I be?
Thanks for saying this... That last line was EXACTLY what I thought. The new season is cool and shiny on the surface, but the soul feels gone. The human connection in the cases seemed surface level and forced, like the writers were trying to force random and unnecessary stuff into "art" to make SY the main guy, instead of letting his work and talent as an ARTIST shine.
