I have a question 4 you guys:do you think that it'll actually have a happy,or sad ending?
1. They go to jail while boyfriends wait for them - open ending. 2. They go to jail, boyfriends wait, they come out and get together - happy ending. 3. Bonnie and Clyde + Thelma and Louise ending. RIP.
Personally, I think option 3 is the best way to go
Main Hoon Na (SRK movie), which has a similar plot, had him as a middle-aged uncle who goes back to college because…
MHN has a similar story, but more indianized. SRK is an army officer who goes undercover as a student to protect the estranged daughter of his boss (mainly because an adult male teacher can't hang around a female student without getting flagged). He falls for his teacher, and while she does like him back, she keeps things professional until his identity is exposed and he is no longer her student.
IDK why this guy is going in as a student, since his mission is more about finding lost gold, so wouldn't a teacher have an easier time snooping around the place, than a student? I guess this just intrigues me even more lmao.

If this was my old classroom, this guy would be out of place with how 'young" he looks. We had 15-16yr old "boys" with grey hair, beards, sounding like Batman... (from my above thread).
If u have seen Haikyuu anime, I had classmates who looked like Asahi lmao.

he doesn't and it'll be better if story embraces this fact. lean into it and use it as a comic relief throughout…

it’s romance between Zhu Yan & Wen Xiao. no, they’re not the same person. the one that zhu yan wanted to love…
Yeah, I know. I honestly only care about the romance aspect, since forcing romance into a plot can make or break a show. Another thing is how most writers write their FLs, ESPECIALLY when it comes to romance, and how a drama treats its female characters is extremely important for me. I am kinda loving how the FL atm, and her ML/Neo "make sense" in a way. Everything else, I'll just let it play out as I watch the show.
Simply because of Netflix ,in 2008 to 2016 you will find quality more and quantity less but now quantity more…
Just because it's not a netflix drama, doesn't mean there was no influence. Netflixation, bascially pandering asian dramas to Western audience, is not a new concept (Indian OTT shows are also a vicitm to the trend), and while it leads to some decent experiments with the story, most of the it's just absurd nonsense plots, with unnecessary soft-porn added in.
I am honestly struggling with this one,i really enjoyed Dashing Youth but have no idea why this one is not captivating…
All the heroes of Dashing Youth are old and retired in TBoY, and their kids are just former shadows of their parents. Kinda like nepo-actors trying to one up their superstar parents. After we've been there, done that with some of the best in land, the new kids just don't hit the same.
That's why I hate it when the prequels come out later than the original, because you already know the spoilers and it just kills the story.
