I am a 35yr old female professional from Mumbai. FL dresses exactly like I would expect a middle-aged professional woman with a public-facing career, fully taking into account the current era and culture of SK, to dress. It's not young or old thing. She dresses for her age and career.
Her "looking young" (I don't mean the actress, coz that's a given, but as a character), again, as a woman with a public-facing career, ESPECIALLY in the entertainment industry, she needs to take care of face and body. That means things like regular skin-care and facials, having a dermatologist or a stylist, spa, botox, personal gym-trainer, diet etc. These are not the things that won't be shown on-screen obviously. If you say, she doesn't have money or that she needs money - yes to buy a FACTORY - they are not exactly struggling for food.
I was never trying to be rude or mean, but I felt this drama lacked in a lot of ways and I tried to give a fair…
I didn't mean it in a bad way. More like it got you so mad that you had a whole-ass rant about it. That only happens when something REALLY PISSES you off. Like, if I just dislike a drama or a book I'll drop it and move on, but Harry Potter's epilogue still gets me ranting and it's been more than a decade.
I know, she's already buying him a sock factory but is that what her son wants to even do?
I don't think so. Her obsession with that factory is the same as my mom's obsessions with "starting a business for you (i.e. me)" She doesn't think he will amount to anything on his own, so she wants to leave something "easy" for him, so he can just take over as the nominal manager/CEO, while someone else does all the work for him. That's also why she keeps paying his friends. Because if he is getting paid, he is an employee and she can dictate the terms. If he is doing it of his violation, it's a favour and she can't dictate/control him.
The reason she wants that factory, as she said in ep.1 is because sock factory is easy to manage. Sock cost very less to make, they will never go out of commission (as long as humans have feet, there is a market for socks) and they don't have shelf life. Even if fashion trends come and go, it won't affect the sock-market. And if she is buying the factory, even if he decides he doesn't want to run it in the future, he can lease it to someone else, or he can sell it for profit, or he can even demolish the factory and develop that land as housing society or a shopping mall.
Honestly I wouldn't take any hate on the woman ( FL)She is flawed, Yes. But we don't even know her story. + Everyone…
From ep.1 she is free/starter version of my mom with people skills of my dad. After living with someone who is basically a Level 100 Boss, she just seems like a baby to me.
The son became hearing impaired at a much younger age and no one in that family learned sign language? Am I the…
No, but sadly that's an unfortunate problem in asian families. They are so hellbent on making their disabled kids be "normal" that they forget they PHYSICALLY ARENT. Diabled people ARE normal, but not the way you think...but who will explain that to them?
Hopefully this drama will not reach those "desperate" kind of bl fans because how disgusting it would be if they…
The synopsis is 100% bromance-bl. Apparently the guy is adopted, but even if they were actual cousins, it is culturally acceptable. So, basically, we will see after the show airs.
As long as both parties are of age, and consenting, more power to him. P.S. Is there a way to verify this unfounded…
I was just joking, but seriously? It can go either way. He looks like he is an absolute beast, but looks can be deceptive, Some guys who look like they are beasts in bed are just limp noodles and most of the time it's the girl doing all the work. Generally because it's their face/body/money that gets them the girls, so they don't think they need to put an effort to please her.

Also, wtf is "she looks hot, she gets a pass"?

P.S. to anyone with a brain wondering why this comment thread exists, I'm bored
