What I said was this specific "letter" from a "close anonymous friend" is too textbook PR to be authentic. It feels too robotic and mechanical, garnered to incite sympathy and compassion.
ZLS went from looking pretty and happy to being a "prune" (as someone below said). C-drama actresses are already too thin, but she practically looks like a skeleton now. Her health deterioration looks a result of constant stress (could be emotional abuse or overwork without rest - which is another form of power abuse) rather than a one time thing from 5yrs ago, that she never got over.

It would have been soo good but romance ruined it. Or rather romance between Celine/XiLin and Harik was cute and made sense, but Shendi and Lin Hao romance didn't make sense and Shendi was probably the most annoying character of the show, who had absolutely no business being there. Dropped.
Yeah, but the whole point of the game was Free Will. Do u CHOOSE to play the game for easy money, no strings attached, or do u want to live the same life as you did before. Playin the game is absolutely and completely the player's own choice, because it's quickonly after winnin and easy money. It's a gamble, either u get rich or you die. Players KNOW the risks, just like MC did in S1. He feels bad now, but he had no qualms killing his childhood friend for that money. He could have sacrificied himself and let his friend go, but he didn't. He can't have his cake and then try to shut the bakery down, because of buyer's remorse.
