Someone in the thread below guessed Sing's character was the killer. He has a minor role, so it could very well be him - a bullied nobody outcast taking revenge on the popular kids by murdering them. Or it could be the new cop as well (either he is the killer or he is protecting the killer), and is only in town to direct the investigation away from himself.

All the possibilities are practically a trope by themselves at this point, it's become a whole new mystery which trope will they go for.

Making brother the killer is too obvious (so extremely possible). But I feel like they will go for killer is a girl, twist, because they always do. It was probably because she had a crush on the little brother, but he liked the dead girl.

Na.. it becomes obvious on the 2nd watch when u know who enchante is. Theo wanted to know "enchante" was because he wanted to know why 3 of them were pretending to be someone who doesn't exist. What seems like him being a bitch the first time, on 2nd time u know he is walking around trying to catch them on their bullshit. It's a far subtle and smart drama actually, and that's the problem. It only works if know there's no mystery. If u look at this from harem/mystery angle it's crap, otherwise it's fun and clever. I upgraded my rating to 10 yesterday.

Posting the gist, because the show is better if you know the spoilers and Theo's actions through the show make a lot more sense. This for 1-8. Ep 9,10 you're on your own.

Let's start with the most obvious one. Enchante. There is NO Enchante. It's just a bored and lonely guy (Theo)!trying to drum up a fake lover to make his crush, Akk, jealous. Akk being a self-proclaimed friendzoner, escalates it by throwing pamplets about looking for Enchante in the college campus. 4 random dudes show up - all of them are incidentally the "Ambassadors" aka Poster Students for the University. And if u pay attention, 3 of them are Grade A creeps.

1. Phupha - Theo's peer-mentor and the academic ambassador. He gave creepy, can't take no for an answer, pushy weirdo, needs a restraining order ASAP vibes from the get go. There was NOTHING romantic in their interactions, Tbeonwas decidedly uncomfortable around and only tolerated him because he is a senior from the same dept.

2. Natee - Art/Painting ambassador. Stalker, creep. He was suffering from a Painter's Block, Theo is his muse. He is knows who is the Real Enchante is from the start. Him and Theo are basically playing Enchante-chicken. He is pretty much upfront about wanting Theo's help (Theo's dad is the Chancellor which is why he is such a hot property), to get them a new exhibition hall so he call display his creepy Shrine of Theo paintings and idk get famous. He has a sidekick who is madly in love with him. I think they eventually get together offscreen, we don't know.

3. Wayo - Athletic ambassador, football team captain. Gives off hardcore fratboy vibes. Keeps finding excuses to get Theo alone and drunk. He is fooling nobody. He also has a thing going with their coach/teacher who keeps turning a blind to whatever the fuck he is doing. Theo and Akk make bets on when he will make his move, and it's Akk"s job to run interception between them. One of Wayo's teammate is Akk's other best friend, who is in charge of defending Wayo against Akk, so he can score Theo.

4. Saifah - Music ambassador. He is basically a jellyfish, just coasting along minding his own business. He is just here for the drama, and to occasionally flirt with Theo in the hopes that Akk, the dumb guy, will get jealous, and drag Theo into his bed like a caveman. He finally does in ep 8 and we all heaved a sigh of relief.

And that's the gist. Theo acts the way he does because he really wants to why everyone is pretending to be Enchante. He treats them like trash because, well, why would'nt he? Also, he is pretty blue-balled because Akk keeps giving him mixed-signals. Like seriously, so MANY MIXED SIGNALS. Kisses him when he is asleep, them acts like it was a dream, drunkenly confesses to kissing him but acts like he doesn't remember what he said, says "je t'aime" (I love you in French) then acts like he has no idea what it means (he googled it, we see his mobile screen), volunteers to find Enchante, then gets upset when 4 guys show up and Theo wants to meet up with them. Like.... seriously man. SERIOUSLY.

3 lines for a drama from a non-speaker? They read it phonetically, the lines are written in Thai and they practice the words. It's supposed to give an illusion, not be realistic.

Exactly. I finished my rewatch today, and Theo is perfectly on point the 2nd time. Like the dude KNOWS they are all full of shit, but he really wants to know why they are pretending to be enchante. And I know most audience hates Theo, but MY GAWD did Akk make me want to shake him. Like man, HWAT THE FUK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!! u say "J'taime" then pretend that u don't know what it means, u kiss the guy, then act like it was a dream, U LIKE HIM, but u are still looking for his mystery lover. I get he had friendzoned himself, because Theo was so freaking obvious you can see he is smitten from the moon.

Also, Theo getting upset with the divorce and Akk. I mean, he has a right to throw a tantrum - if the parents had been upfront with him from the get go, instead of him finding out through a gossip from college mate who heard it from an employee of his mother's and comes home to her packed bags, anyone's gonna get mad/upset. He blamed Akk for hiding, which well, people act they have never irrationally acted or misplaced blame in heat of the moment. He is a young human and he acted like one.

It's one of those shows which is good on rewatch because u can skip through unnecessary stuff, like the whole enchante thing and just watch for Akk and Theo. 3 of 4 ambassadors are creepy assholes who are after Theo's money or connections, the last one just got dragged into the mess for no reason. The endgame is Theo and his friend, obviously.

Honestly, it doesn't seem aa weord on the rewatch because u know the mystery. And u know the motives of E4.

That is the point. Saifah aside, ALL of them were freaking creepy and disingenious. Esp that Phupa (Aou) character. He just proved that apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The football guy just came across as a serial-apist, kept trying to get Theo alone and drunk. What was he planning to do? Make an MMS and blackmail him? That painter was a bigtime stalker, but atleast he was upfront about using him. I didn't really mind him because once u know the reveal (I am doing a rewatch rn), you realise that Theo was just humoring him.

The show is basically Theo on a pointless mystery hunt of why 3 random creeps are pretending to be "Enchante", meanwhile poor Saifah is wondering just how dumb Akk is that Theo needs to hire 4 whole guys to play a fake love-rival.

Unhappy ending for BL couple. Don't bother if it's not your cup of tea. P.S. the way it's been trashed to hell and back, that's not even a spoiler anymore.

Dude, he is a loaded guy with excellent connections. Even they were in it for the guy himself, the perks will come with him. His parents aren't going to disown his sorry butt for hooking up with a guy, much less one of the "ambassadors".

Rewatch Edition: As said in my Kidnap review, Gmmtv has pretty much cemented itself as the master of misguiding trailers. This was one of their first victims.

I am rewatching this again today, and honestly if already u know what's coming, it's better. Like the CS4 (Creepy-stalker 4) were so obvious on the 2nd watch. They seem EXACTLY like the group of friends who would date-gan-grape a girl and GET AWAY with it because they are "good student ambassadors" and their image is tied to the Uni's reputation. Force/Akk probably knew their real reputation because, he kept trying to avoid the Senior-stalker but if your bestfriend keeps chasing red flags like an intoxicated bull, what can you do? U just suck it up, and hope that when shit hits the fan, u atleast have some room left to run.

That said, I don't think Theo meant to keep the charade going on for so long. He probably wanted Akk to get jealous but Akk escalated by openly calling out for Enchante and CS4 showed up, and I guess the idiot doubled down because he didn't want to admit that he was pathetic and lonely to his crush. And the lies just kept building up.

Thanks for the review... I was looking for something to play in the background while I worked - I won 2 months of free yt premium (it will end on 26th Dec, lmao), and I have every intention of milking it for all it's worth - so I needed something mindless but fun, that I don't really need to pay attention to. I am not every fond of ensemble-bls (burned too many times, lmao) but this pointless, plotless series seems to fit what I'm looking for while I wait for HSF to finish.

Well, at least, hope it's better than Enchante, which I'd skipped the first time because of it's harem plot, but decided to watch yesterday.

They are not related, and that's one of the reasons I dropped it. I really wanted him to be the brother and SML to be the ML. Unfortunately, their actual relationship isn't explained, and even if they were related, we wouldn't know since all the people who could have known were already dead.
